I mentioned in my profile that H & H was a massive turn off for me. This has been on my profile for a couple of years. Yesterday I started getting a popup that stopped me updating my profile because I alegedly mentioned a web page (which I hadn't) and to try again in a couple of hours (which didnt work 24H later!) . It seems I am not allowed to say what is a massive turn off anymore.....

Thanks, yes I thought that since the line I deleted had nothing to do with the bit of text that I changed to trigger this stupid block.

This pathetic censorship means it is now impossible to avoid the profiles that are not for me. Last time I checked those three letters were not against the law.

I got that recently: "Fab doesn't allow users to mention links to other websites". I had done nothing of the kind.

It turned out I had used a word they didn't like (not related to any substance nor illegal behaviour).

WTF?

Tameside

I posted about a time waster the other day and had it removed by fab. Ok I can accept that.

They now won't allow me to update my status at all!

What am I paying for??

This kind of censorship feels dangerous to me

It is dangerous censorship.

Even with regards to the substances.

Would you not prefer to know if someone was on something?

I mean: we can still post about alcohol, and being d*unk, so why not substances? I'd want to know.

Especially when there are still plenty of other subjects that break the law that we can still write about: driving over the speed limit, stealing, etc...

So why not substances? We are all grown-ups with our dicks on display, so, frankly... 😶🤔
