Should they be archived or deleted or treated differently?

Not sure they should be deleted if they are current, however long dead ones probably should

There was one member here that was prolific starting new threads, then left, then came back and it just made a mess of thing, seemingly having to reply to every single thread.

They are currently not on the site but I am sure they will be back.

There is currently another member doing similar, not a big deal, see who started the thread and ignore.

It is annoying but unavoidable
