I've sex my message rules so no-one under 30 can contact me, so why am I still receiving messages from guys below my age limit?

You may have previously opened a message from them? If so your filter will be ineffective.

But it would be good to have a work apund for this. Maybe filter.kicks in if both have deleted the message thread or if you don't reapond in a set time. Or you can tick an apply filter box??

Yes in my case, the guy messaged me 2 weeks ago and I told him he was too young for me, I then changed the message rules, then the guy messaged me again the other day, 2 things here, his memory is very poor and he obviously didn't check my age limits on my profile.
