Can’t delete photos

I’ve tried clicking the bin icon beside the pic I want to delete but nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Think there may be a glitch on the system i put a face pic on friend's only and it went on new pics for everyone to see Lucky enough i realised a few minutes later and rectified it as i don't want to be outed
