Time wasters … what is the policy on getting these people - surely banning them if they are frequent reported by multiple users

I often report time wasters and those that are abusive when rejected, but they are never banned. What is the point?

I guess the difficulty for the site owners, mods etc is that they only have one side of the story, that coming from the person who reports the "timewaster" if they were to automatically ban or sanction in other ways people for timewasting it would be open to abuse.

That’s why I am suggesting that an accumulation of complaintsfrom different members about a particular individual should be considered grounds to say bye bye.

I get what you are saying, I just don't think the site owners have any will to anything after all it means extra admin, in the meantime I just block and move on, I don't tend to let it overly bother me, I know it can be a pain in the arse getting ready and all that but I ain't going to loose sleep over it.

I reported a repeat offender regularly alas he would just re join amend his details and arrange meets then disappear not sure what answer is other than the block button which you can control

Exactly, I've been stalked over this site, Fabswingers, the now defunct Cottaging and Dogging.co.uk sites by the same guy, I report and block him but he just sets up again and a couple of months later he's at it again.

Once met a guy on here. Came to my house and I sucked his cock. Left me a great verification. Messaged me the week after. Swapped a couple of messages with him and he asked if he could come over for another bj. Told him I couldn't 'cos I wasn't home alone as the wife was in. Went on a massive rant saying he was gonna report e as a fucktime waster and blocked me. Getting people kicked off is too open for abuse also nothing to stop frequent offenders just changing there name and rejoining.

I think you have to accept there are some weired characters out there who get some kind of kick out of being a timewaster we just need to be aware and careful although I am my own worse enemy and kick myself especially if I have given out my address and mobile

If they banned every timewaster on here there would be a very short supply,I generally go along with them and even go for a drive out just to see new areas, what's the damage, worst way you get to have lunch at a different Greg's

They could rejoin the site using a different email address in 30 seconds

Of course they will rejoin but they will start off with a”member for 1 day” and that will put people off - they will find it a lot more difficult to with a zero track record.

Problem is defining a timewaster. I got accused of being one just for refusing to drive 50+ miles in the early hours of a cold wet February morning. Can be an excuse for all sorts of petty vendettas.

Lol. I'm of the same mind actually, I arranged to meet a guy on the far side of Glasgow but decided to make a bit of a trip of it in case the meet didn't happen or was over in no time. He ended up going offline for days then blocking me but I had a great walk around a country park and a wander around a town I'd never been visited before.

It depends on which mod is working when the complaint goes in.

Also I can be banned and back online in five minutes. Just too easy but they can’t block an IP address as it covers a fairly big area.

My take on this now is that this is FabGuys and the other is G! If you’re looking for “commitment” from someone you’re looking in the wrong place. This isn’t match.com or eHarmony (if those things still exist). You have to ride the rough with the smooth and accept you may have to kiss a few frogs before you get the prize. Build up a reputation for being a genuine decent guy and others will see that and soon you attract likeminded guys.

They are supposed to be banned but like others have said they seem to be able to come back on here under a different profile name quite easily.

if you have to provide photo id or facial I'd when setting up a profile then surely if they've been banned they should know who they are

Alas Admin either won't do anything or difficult for them to do.

Been off and on this site for many years and unfortunately it has got worse over the years I have posted meets with over 50 views but no one takes up offer could be me or the site who knows.

It's a tricky problem. I know a lot are disingenuous from the start. But sometimes things come up. Or people get nervous and flake.

But that sort of intervention would be manpower heavy, and the admins and mods are struggling to stay on top of the forum, pics and status breaches promptly. For that you'd need everyine to be taking out subscriptions to pay for it.

Then you have the issue if discretion. Keeping facial data etc is risky as this AI continues to breach its testing boundaries. I'd not trust technsecurity these days at all.

you must be mad or desperate to have someone who you don't know from Adam at your door so many on here have real complex mental health problems

Surely we can't call people timewasters because nobody responds to a meet you advertised?

As we can read on this thread, the definition of a timewaster is a different thing for different people. If you mean people who don't turn up OP, report and if the evidence is there Admin will deal with it.
