"I think newbies is only 5 days. Plenty of time for you to identify the new profile and block it before they can contact you!" I don't know until he's messaged me that's the issue, I'm hoping blocking new members should stop him

"We were all newbies once. You have to start somewhere. Met one newbie. He was quite nervous and admitted afterwards I was the first guy he'd ever done anything with. Became a regular 'visitor' for awhile. So don't condemn them all." Its not that I condemn them, and I am happy to meet newbies- and have done twice. I just do it to stop the regular drop and join guys from messaging me lol!

Which is why I don't like to block newbies, however the 5 day thing might stop this idiot from bothering me, I'm just getting a bit fed up with him, it's been going on for years across this and related sites (cottaging, dogging, Fabswingers), blocking, reporting etc doesn't work. he just comes back under a new, modified but essentially the same username.

"I block all newbies just to filter out the lads who sign up in the middle of the night, pissed up, high or just horny, sending me stupid messages to "meet now" because they see that I'm nearby and online. Most of them delete their profile after they've sobered up, had a wank or worried that their wives will see the site in their search history Also stops lads who I've blocked (for whatever reason) to set up a new profile straight away so they can send me any abusive messages.

"How long does a member stay a newbie with "new" next to their name? The reason I'm asking is that I keep getting bothered by a member who I've tried reporting and blocking and he just keeps coming back with a slightly different username, this has been going on for years over various sites. I don't want to exclude newbies permanently, just thinking that excluding people who have only been members for a week or so (if that's how it works) would stop my stalker." If this has been going on for a long as you say, stalking is a serious offence and can turn into something much nastier or dangerous. Take screen shots of everything from this person, all messages, various usernames and websites, dates and times of all correspondence. Go to the police, they have specialist teams to deal with cyber crime, online bullying/harassment and stalking. People are not as anonymous online as they think and the police should be able to track them down.
