Cruising isn't illegal." Sex in a public place and sex in public toilets are an offence though which carry the potential of being placed on the sex offender register if caught. | |||

You're right about public toilets but that's the only place where it's explicitly illegal in law. Sex in other public areas is open to interpretation. If you're doing it in a place where there can be a reasonable expectation that you'll be seen then yes, you risk being prosecuted, but as long as you take steps to prevent that (for example going somewhere more isolated where you can reasonably expect not to be disturbed) then you're on more solid legal ground. | |||
