I get to somewere new and it takes forever to bring up local people it stays on my home setting which dosent help. Turning off and on makes no difference

Have you got the 'who's near' function on?

I sometimes have to switch it on as it knocks itself off occasionally, especially after turning the phone on.

My “ who’s near facility”

Won’t work outwith my base.

I have an older iPhone and location services is on, WiFi connection active but when in a different geographical area it remains to show my base location only with a message to say “ we cannot access your location”?

I have tried every recommended step but nothing.

Very frustrating when elsewhere and on the hunt lol!!!!

I find it takes a good 10 minutes before the refresh actuslly refreshes to the new location.

A few weeks back we took a trip to Dublin and I turned on who's near to show me the local guys back home. I hit refresh and it was thw same guys.

Now when I hit the button to refine the who's neat to matching my preferences, it automatically showed guys from near me in Dublin.

After about 10 mins the who's near showed dublin guys regardless.

These location problems are probably due to your phone Not updating it's GPS information and/or sharing it.

I can't give you any specific advice as all phones are different (and similar), but you must allow Both your Browser Software and the Fabguys Site Location Access

When my (android) phone does this, I open Google maps and make sure my location is correct.

Most phones are not 'looking' to see where they are all the time. They could, but your battery life would suffer.

You also may have to Refresh the 'Who's Near' page several times
