Fab guys app useless

Uplosded the app but its useless no where near as good as a laptop site now i know why only got 3 stars on Google play ist crap (only uploaded it as it kept popping up on my mobile when using the other site

Each to there own I guess. I don't have a laptop, so only use the mobile app, with no problems; it does everything I want and has everything I need, though the 'distsnce from' isn't always very accurate.

The desktop version works on tablet through google etc

The site is accessible, on a mobile or any other device, via a web browser: app may be preferable for some, but definitely not required. Fabguys existed before the introduction of the app.

I only use the mobile desktop, but I downloaded the app as well so that I got notifications when I received messages as the mobile and pc/laptop desktop version only sends email notifications. And unless you check your emails you might/can miss messages.

Think you need to change your setting mate. I've never had an email for receiving a message.

The mobile and desktop versions work very well on my phone and tablet. I use Chrome Web browser, incognito mode and log in as normal. Everything works just fine and I've changed no settings. The "who is near me" function sometimes take about 5 mins to update so have to keep refreshing it.

Just change the settings within whatever email client you use on your phone to access emails to allow/send notifications: Fabguys app not required for this. Smart watches also receive email notifications.

I'm just totally fed up of the constant pop ups wanting me to load the app thing up. It appears over the 'whos near' button thus making it very awkward to check who is actually close by, unless that is you can make a very quick double shuffle with your thumbs. For this reason alone, I will never load this app thing up.

From memory Fab don't use pop ups. You are a SS so you shouldn't be seeing any advertising either and I see you are using the mobile site unless this only happens if you switch to the desktop site. Do you think you may have a bug? It may be worth contacting Admin and explaining everything to them and they may advice what to do xx

I log in through Chrome on incognito mode on my phone, tablet & laptop.

And I use the mobile version on all of those as I find it better to navigate and far easier to access the forum here, which is practically impossible on the desktop version.

I do miss the old front page of the desktop though, even though its much more impractical.

There's a bigger thrill to seeing an underscored "You have 1 new message" written in text than a souless coloured box at the top of the page.

That's just nostalgia though, so many cocks ago.

Other than that the mobile version is exponentially better.

I wouldn't use an app as I'm a married bi so don't want to risk it being seen on my phone screen.

What do you expect when you are 59 years old looking for someone under 30 and you have a list of types of people you won’t meet?

If you limit your own options you can’t expect to be inundated with offers.

Maybe it isn’t the fault of the app. 🤦‍♂️

Normally an option in their mobile account.

Log in and check.

I didn't have a setting so had to speak to someone to get it changed
