I notice that there is a new feature in a forum so you can simply put a thumbs up or down on a comment.

I've long thought that would be an excellent idea. The only shame is it does not register who made the post.

Don't evwn get how the dislike thumb is supposwd to be used. It doesn't add or subtrat from a count.

At least this way it can't be used for a proxy poll and further polarise the forum, which was my initial worry

The counter only shows the amount of thumbs up.

The thumbs down counter number is hidden, until, if, Admin decide to show it.
