What are you going to do with your extra hour?

West Sussex

The title of this thread will confuse the hell out of people after tonight

I tend to find that by the time I wake up, my iPad etc has adjusted itself and I had the extra hour without realising it.

One advantage for me is that the clock on the cooker will now show the right time as I never got around to putting it forward in the Spring.

It'll only help if time is reset to March and maybe we can get back everything we've lost.

I wouldn’t fancy it being dark until around after 10am in the morning

Better to put clocks back and then leave them at that, no more "spring forward". That way we stay permanently on GMT.

We should have cancelled it...

Who in their right mind wants an extra hour of 2020?

I love this time of year. Blue skies and sunshine is like putting big floodlights over the world, revealing everything in a bare clinical way.

Winter light is just more interesting. It's like mood lighting. And I like the darkness. The dark is safe.

Very poetic and I do agree with you.

I love the autumn colours

Sorry to disappoint you but this is an old post. The clocks have already gone back for this year.

Better buy a cake instead.
