Normally agree, female terms are a bit odd, though went along with a guy who was telling me to suck 'Daddy's cock", then how he was going to breed my " boi cunt", "feel my cum in your boi cunt " etc etc.

Sort of hot at the time.

Pussy is a bit effeminate though.

Isn’t it just a playful nickname?

I’ve seen an anus called an arsehole, or a rosebud, or a fuck hole... or a penis called a dick, or cock, or pecker, or John Thomas

Other than a more feminine nickname, I don’t see much difference.

Not enough to get my “knickers” in a twist about, anyhow

Mmmm ok... but how do we decide what's “acceptable”?... a ship is feminine... “i.e. God protect all that sail in her”... yet nothing feminine about 50,000 tons of steel. Or should it be male to be more “acceptable”, after all, steel is more masculine, i guess.

Alternatively, in French, an anus is denotes as masculine, so does that mean a woman can’t have one?

Anyhow, it’s just a nickname. A bit like calling each other “Daddy” or “Son”, which is equally no more realistic, and some may say even less tasteful.

Each to own. Live & let live

I don't see why this is such a big deal. When referring to sex, I call it many different things "fuck my ass, hole, bum, pussy", depends on how the conversation is going.

Regarding those comments along the lines of "I prefer my man to be a man" this is a dangerous path to go. There are plenty of people around who don't consider sleeping with men manly, up to a point where gay people are pushed to take gender reassignment surgeries.

There are two ways to look at gender, from biological (what you're born as) point of view and from psychological point of view (how you identify yourself).

Everything else is a social construct.

For my two cents, it doesn't really matter. I do think it's kinda hot being told I'm going to have my cunt fucked...but Tbh I've probably picked up the association from porn, and to be used as an object for sexual pleasure. Cunt is a strong word in itself, so it's use can I suppose amplify a situation, if it floats the right boat!

Personally, I can't stand people saying "botty" or "cummies".

But, calling someone “son”... or “daddy”

There is a theory in linguistic studies that as the word pussy has been used as a slot for weak or feminine men by other men that gay men are reclaiming the word by using it.

Exactly, the guys can call their parts what they want but when it comes to a transgendered person they ain't allowed to call it they tgirl pussy etc, to me that's biased and makes guys sound like hypocrites, just like some gay guys quote on their profile they want to be accepted by the wider community for their sexuality yet they don't accept the trans part of the lgbt scene, yet again hypocrites

Totally agree with you on that one, it's their body, they are entitled to call parts of it what they like, no matter if its their tgirl clitty or tgirl pussy etc, it's because they feel feminine, maybe they have a small enough penis that doesn't actually resemble a penis but more like a large clit, not all tgirls have a big cock, alot of the submissive or bottom only girls have a tiny one

I think you need to read eveyones posts to your original post, it's others who brought in genders and mentioned about tv/ts's etc, and he is referring to those quotes. We need to be awfully careful here. Saying you don't like something is not the same as saying other people may not do it.

It is perfectly reasonable to state an opinion on these terms and how they make you feel.

To suggest that is telling others what to do is to suggest those others are very weak minded and unable to think for themselves.

However you are entitled to argue with the opinions and state your own.

Totally agree... though care should be taken with tone and language when doing so.

E.g. “i just don’t get guys wearing women’s clothes. A man should be as nature intended, a man”

Seemingly nothing wrong with that to some, but let’s try sone word swapping to judge if the tone is actually fair

E.g. “i just don’t get guys being fat. A man should be as nature intended, slim”

Not my view by the way... just making a point about lazily expressing an opinion.

I agree with you. But the onus is on us when we receive information to see it for what it is and then react in a constructive way.

If we are one of those, rather common, at least online, souls who just takes everything which is not entirely complimentart as an excuse to get worked up and upset, then we need to have a bit of a word with ourselves.

A reasonable point, but being considerate of one person often leads to squeaks that you are not being considerate enough of other people. Which is why a lot of supposed right wing people are so upset by this whole thing. They are really fed up that no matter how hard they try, there is always some screeching person telling them that they are wrong, evil, not ok, problematic and so on. Which is why the term politically correct has become such a poisonous one in many contexts. Perfectly well meaning people who simply have little or no interest in sexual politics, gender politics and so on get hounded, abused and portrayed as evil by people who have no ability to see the world through anyone's eyes but their own and who appear at least, to think that the whole world should be as obsessed about what to many people are irrelevant character traits, as they are.

Then we get massively polarised and divided and it all goes hideously wrong.

Once we are divided, we are easier to control and easier to exploit.

"We need to be awfully careful here.

Again agree... but none of that means we shouldn’t try to be considerate of others.

Once we are divided, we are easier to control and easier to exploit."

Again agree, but none of that means we shouldn’t try to be considerate of others.... or allow ourselves to be unnecessarily offended

I think the problem with these terms apart from sounding ridiculous is the fact that they relate to internalised homophobia. Like homosexual sex is somehow inferior and needs to be softened by use of a euphemism or in this case (imo) dysphemism to describe the act. I understand that not everyone needs to make use of such terms and that they can and do come across as offensive to a lot of gay people but being offended and having a go at someone isn't conducive to helping someone realise that it is in fact OK to be gay.

I'll be honest prefer to call it cock and ass. I have a cock and I have an asshole that gets penetrated. However, does it really matter what a guy calls it. Absolutely no reason to get irritated, angry or upset about it. People are dying, starving and being abused in this world and guys are upset about the terms pussy and clit ffs

"Isn’t it just a playful nickname?

I’ve seen an anus called an arsehole, or a rosebud, or a fuck hole... or a penis called a dick, or cock, or pecker, or John Thomas

Other than a more feminine nickname, I don’t see much difference.

Not enough to get my “knickers” in a twist about, anyhow

All the term you used are masculine.. And totally acceptable.. But saying "other than being more feminine"..?? It doesn't get more feminine...

Mmmm ok... but how do we decide what's “acceptable”?... a ship is feminine...

Fuck me, if only we had more voices of reason like you on here! Well said.

You still talking pish..? "

Is that you? I’m rather surprised that you have the capacity to both write and breathe. Don’t write for too long or you’ll be in mortal trouble.

Haha I like that. From now on, I'm going to call it my tommy.

I don't really care what people call their parts, but I find it quite funny when a guy refers to his "boy-pussy". It just sounds a bit wrong. But what do I know? I'm probably talking out of my tommy.

It's a silly argument. Some guys don't like femininity in men which is fine. Stick to what you like. Some of us have a lot of femininity mixed into our gayness and like to express it sexually. There is no 'why oh why'.

No matter how feminine you feel, you have neither a clit or a pussy.

No wonder genuine trans people get such hatred, when men with a fetish for women's clothes claim to have a clitoris

Fucking hell...how long must this go on?

It's a fucking personal decision. Why be prejudicial against a label? For fucks sake, if you are going to do that most "real" men would object to a gay person calling themselves men.

Get a fucking grip on your own bigoted self worth.

Guys can call their bits what they like but what I would say is, know your audience.

The times I get first messages like

"Mmm daddy let me worship your cock and fuck my pussy" or words to that effect.

Nothing in that statement is going to make me want to fuck you!

Communicate first, not everyone finds these terms a turn on.

You don’t need a filter when the title of the post uses language you find “cringeworthy”

But despite wanting to filter the words out you still come to a post that clearly mentions them. Strange.

There's nothing strange about it at all. The discussion is about the words being used. Or are we not allowed to even discuss words we dont like here, even though that is the entire context of this thread?
