I had my PA done 40 years ago last October. It is 10mm thick. I had to remove it for a couple of weeks for an operation and it felt odd. The when I put it back in I really noticed it. It had also shrunk down to about 3mm

I love it and never regret having it done

For guys who have them is it embarrassing going through security scanners like at airports? Do you get body searched?

I’ve stayed at 5mm gauge as that suits us. I’d been up to 6mm but it affected sensitivities slightly so dropped back to 5mm.

I bought an 8mm on a whim but I don’t think I’d ever go there.
