To protect others and to help the nation get back to normal as quickly as possible. The fast we all comply the quicker we get out of this situation. If nobody wears a mask and nobody does social distancing then the nation would probably be in an even stickier mess and it could take even longer to return to normal. We can’t afford to give the virus more time to mutate. We need to pull together.

What winds me up is the people who don't wear one "because they're exempt"...(regardless of whether they can physically wear one).

I am medically exempt, but i still wear one......i understand that some CAN'T wear one without breathing difficulties, and that's fine....but surely they could wear a face shield instead?....

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you HAVE to.....same as just because you don't HAVE to wear one, doesn't mean you shouldn't !

People generally do as THEY’RE told. If someone is wearing a mask and coughs and I’m wearing a mask then the chances of the virus getting into my lungs is less than if someone coughed in my face. Stands to reason that the fabric layers will stop some particles.

If you look it actually says had covid and died within 28 days regardless of the cause! So you could get covid,recover, and 20 days later get hit by a bus and it's recorded as a covid death??

The CE mark governs electrical safety, shows that the product does not contain harmful materials amongst other things. It does not give an indication of the efficacy of the toaster at toasting.

Face masks generally don't have electrical parts. They are not comparable.

I could say that in a green grocer, the spring onions do not have a specific standard mark, but we put them in our body. So why does a face mask need one.

But that would also be a nonsense comparison.

I had 5 jabs total, not a single side effect. Perfectly healthy.

To say everyone with a modicum of common sense are easily led is hypocritical when you've evidently been easily led down the path of antivax rhetoric which has been debunked by literally thousands of scientists, drs and professors worldwide. Yes, there are some adverse affects in a tiny % of people that received the vaccines, as there are with paracetamol, antibiotics, ibuprofen, nuts, fish etc.

It's laughable that a small number of people genuinely believe they're superior to everyone else because they've watched a few youtube videos convincing them that science is evil and everyone else is a liar while literally making the creator money for spreading lies and killing people.

All those I work with who didn't have the jab are always off sick with covid. A few have been off for many months

All but one regret not having the jab

Everyone has a choice and I am sure that everyone who didn't have the jab and becomes ill will choose not to seek support and treatment??
