Anyone been noticing more guys around with just a moustache and no beard? Always found it a hot look, great to see younger guys embracing it.

I have to say I haven't noticed it. However, beardless men seem to be an endangered species. I like beards so that doesn't bother me. It will be interesting to see if moustaches are making a come back.

I think the beard phase is dying out, quite rightly too in my opinion, never did like the hairy face look. And as for "designer stubble" it was merely an excuse to be scruffy. Like the Geldof creature. The pinnacle of scruffy. Clean shaved face everytime for me.

I was rocking the full beard up last week, shaved it off and kept the tash. That come off a few days later cause of all the piss taking at work. Probably doesn't help that im going gray on top but the tash was bright ginger

Worthing

Are they coming back in an ironic way?

I agree the beard thing has been overdone in recent years, but some guys just suit it naturally. It’s the jumping on the bandwagon thing that I find tedious.

Can’t see taches proliferating in quite the same way. Unless there’s a 70s porn revival look that I’ve missed?

Moustaches were de rigueur back around 1980 with the 'clone' look. Pubs and clubs were full of short-haired, moustachioed denim-clad men chasing each other around.

I've been clean shaven all my life it can be nice to see a guy with hair on his face but i think you really have to have the face and body for it grey hair on your face is a no no with me and getting grey hair round your cock and balls does my head it but unfortunately there isn't a great deal to do about that i sometimes think guys can be lazy and don't wanna shave.

The amount of guys I've seen with this hipster beard 'thing' look like complete wankers.

Why do they grow one......?? Because every other fucker has one. And they think they look the mutts nuts because they got one. They don't.

Seen a pic of a guy on here that has one of these hipster monstrosities and he looks like a bag-person on steroids.

I truly hope they're on the way out.... and as quickly as possible.

gwent.

Had a 70's porn stache since my early 20's and guys and gals seem to like it. It has only been shaved off three times in the last 35 years usually following a grooming accident then grown back immediately. I am now in my late 50's and obviously it is going quite grey but i have had so long I just can't bring myself to deliberatly shave it off I just dont look right without it. There have been numerous beards but they never last.

I know it's corny, but it was the leather bloke from the Village People that confirmed my thoughts that I might just be batting for the other side when I was a kid. It was the leather gear, but mostly the moustache. And when I finally got to experience one...cor!! I say more moustaches please.

Tegeingl, Gogledd Cymru

I recall the late Peter Wyngarde, a talented actor who regularly appeared on TV from the 1960s to the mid-1990s. He was openly gay and sported a distinctive thick Mexican-style moustache, which I believe may have influenced a fashion trend among gay men. A gay colleague of mine had a similar hairstyle and moustache, and in the 1980s, it seemed to become an iconic symbol of gay identity.
