A friend who's a prison officer knows. Any kind of sexual contact is forbidden - penalty if discovered is loss of privileges or even solitary for a while.

However, condoms are available to buy on a weekly basis!

Interesting that, and hepatitis jabs are compulsory.

Worked in the prison system for 30 years, and if course it goes on. As in normal society there are always men wanting to fulfil their sexual needs. It's against prison rules, but normally if it happens, they get a caution, one moved to another wing. Condoms are available to prisoners through health care, to prevent spread of any sexual transmitted infections. Lot of sex for favours, drugs, canteen goods etc. Always surprised when you catch someone, as half the time they try to come across as these big hard men, who wouldn't engage in sex with men. See them with their wives on visits preening.

My toyboy has been AWOL for a week / and today I discovered why, when a brown envelope with official writing popped through my door .

He wrote me a letter from remand in jail.

I told him I’d always be here for him, I meant it and I’ll stand by him.

I'd call it petty crime love - he was too busy shagging me, and ignored a court date, so they issued an arrest warrant.

I wrote a letter to him tonight and posted it. I told him judges are under orders to avoid sending people to prison unnecessarily, because of overcrowding, so fingers crossed they'll think 3 weeks behind bars on remand is enough of a punishment.

I hope so.

Yeah, if its custodial it will be serious.

Especially if it's more than a week. I know a guy up north who assaulted someone, got fined £800 and got a week in BarL.

So what has your BF been up to then, pray tell? You divulge every other detail of your personal life freely, apropo of nothing, so TELL US WHAT HE DID LOL!

By a spooky coincidence, I was binging on "What It's Like to be a Girl" on iPlayer about the same time the coppers must have been locking him up last week.

One of the episodes covered the 8 months or so that Byron spent in prison for his part in a robbery.

I know nothing about the inside of a prison, other than what I see in programmes like this or read about on the internet.

Anyway, I remember the difference it made when Byron got a pic from his mates.

So today I went down to the library and printed off a pic.

I'd never seen him so happy, outside the bedroom that is, as the time when he sat on my motorcycle and asked me to take pics of him.

He had one as his wallpaper on his phone (which he won't be allowed now).

So I posted the pic to him. I hope it makes a difference like I saw on the telly last week.

Just remember both letters and phone calls will be censored.

Also if you go to visit (I have on occasions when people I know have been inside) it can be quite intimidating getting in and out. He will need to send you a visiting order to go and see him.

"I met my partner there in Stafford prison "

That's nice. When were you there? Before 2014 or after?

I know people who have been in prison and it's nothing like telly or what the Daily Mail would have you believe. One friend did tell me about a gay inmate who managed to get 'padded up' with his special friend during Covid as they were both on the wing cleaning team. Lots of shagging and oral once they were locked back up, by all accounts! But other than that, there is nothing fun, sexy or exciting about the rest of prison life. He told me how lads would run up debts paying other men in vapes for the loan of a 'secret' USB stick full of porn. The fantasists here obviously don't know anyone who has actually lived the real thing. It's not all 'dropping the soap' and 100+ freeview channels and amazing food!

Bound to happen but doubt it is very erotic or romantic. If you are sharing a cell with another guy and you both feel that way inclined then it will happen. Otherwise, from what I am told by a prison warden friend, they are not very private places. Bit like a ship and the myth that sailors spend all their time banging each other. I knew of a guy who became infected with HIV whilst in prison, and don't think it was from sharing towels.

I'm sure that's what most prison sex will be in reality. Cell mates getting/giving blowjobs discretely, maybe fucking but I bet you are more likely to get caught.

No way is there the wing cocksucker giving out blowjobs to a queue of eager cons giving 'treats' in return lol. As much as there may be those who would love to service the whole wing lol. I'm sure any aspiring sluts get outed pretty quickly via lags gossiping and being overheard by a prison officer.

Ooh!!!!?

You are such a 'good' person. Not. Exploitative more like. If a young person is so impressed by mediocre materialism you should pay for him to undergo an education course instead. But then you would lose influence/power/control...

And if he is so 'happy' ahem, considering his current dire predicament with a daft photo of a motorbike then he must be incredibly feeble-minded...

As a Somali I must say this cracked me up. Idea of that old cross dresser sending a pic of a motorbike.

"American jails more openly "

More about power and status there. Much less stigma attached. A 'hard man' won't be seen as any less an alpha male if he has sex with a 'sissy'!/weaker male in a US jail.

Unlike in a UK one...
