To avoid any confusion I believe the OP is talking about the newest iteration of QAF. The 2022 version. It's brand new.

There are three versions:

1. The UK Original (1999-2000) (Ch4)

2. The US Remake (2000-2005)

3. The Us Reboot (2022-20??)

Yes this is the US Reboot, just watched the first episode which was quite shocking actually and not in a sexual way. It's a lot more queer with trans etc.

Aside from the opening.. so to speak.. full on sex and nudity.. with a stark bollock naked Aidan Gillen and Chuck Hunnam.. there was extremely little to get you interested.. plus that mutant from that northern soap opera is in the uk version..

Guess it's down to taste. I enjoyed the British version but couldn't get to grips with the American version at all. Recorded it but gave up halfway through. I bought the British version on DVD. Still think it is RTD's best work to date.
