I do 28 days each month locked then locked back up on the first of each month. I'd love to build to 30 days locked so only out one day if it's a 31 day month or not at all if not.

I have always found metal cages more comfy. The best size to get is where the tip of your dick touches the end of the cage when fully soft.

This means there is no room to grow. This is actually more comfy in my experience than having a longer cage where you can grow partially.

Metal cages easier for cleaning too.

I've just bought a steel one and it's great! Obviously, getting the size correct is important but the snug fit makes me feel really controlled. Got them both from House of Denial, worth a look.

If they are worn with just metal to skin, they will start to chafe because of tiny movements against friction. Vaseline smeared inside the ring and around the contact area makes it comfortable.

The choice is between a ring that is solid, or one that is hinged. The solid ones are a lot harder to get into, and hence will need to be a bit looser.

The ones with a hinge will be easier to put on, and more snug. The thing to watch out for is that the underside of your ball sac can get nipped in the hinge while it is closing. That is NOT something you want. Covering the hinge with a piece of elastoplast helps.
