Drinks with grown ups and some great conversation. Robust exchange of views. No knobhead trying to appear smart. And I’m sure there will be topics & views that we will agree to disagree on.

A bit of Paul Weller playing in the background as I get dressed and ready , looking gorgeous of course.

Just make sure you don't call anyone you disagree with a 'troll'. Unless of course you only do that from the safety of being behind a keyboard.

Thank goodness for pubs. People without friends can go and have some sort of face to face contact

An interaction with likeminded adults, rather than an ongoing relationship in a bedroom with a screen and a crusty sock.

Happy Friday evening all.

Me too- pity they are so much more expensive these days. I remember being shocked when the cost of a pint broke the £2 barrier. Chance would be a fine thing these days

I don't think anyone is in a relationship with a crusty sock, unless of course you are just referring to what your own alternative plans would have been.

Boyish lesbian, ex drag queen - today's company down the pub was super

I even saw my ex-fella at the bar across the road and went across for a natter, at which point I found myself drawn into a conversation with a Glasgow Rangers fan from Belfast.

The jukebox was very good too, lots of 1970s disco
