Watched any old crap the Beeb or ITV showed when we got back from school. There was a weirdly earnest couple of programmes on ITV; one called called How (to do/make stuff), and one really earnest but dull programme with a bloke called Jack in his shed showing country stuff. Peter Serafimovich did a hilarious piss take of it called Markets of Britain.

Jack was Jack Hargreaves & I think the Shed programme was called Country Boy. The same guy also starred in & invented “How” , which was an early Studio based Repair Shop type of Programme. Co presenter was a guy called Fred Dineage, who is still doing the rounds doing Voiceovers on Real Life Crime progs on some of the more obscure channels we have now .

I adored Thunderbirds and still do though I’ve recently got into Stingray big time. I saw the episode “Titan goes pop” and I was hooked.

Gerry Anderson was a genius and assembled the most brilliant team. I listen to the GA Podcast every week co-hosted by his son Jamie. Give it a listen.

Finally, had to mention the UFO episode “Ordeal” where the stunningly gorgeous Paul Foster ends up sweating, wearing just a towel in the sauna, for quite a while, almost in lingering slow motion. Wonderful.

As everyone knows Troy was fucking Atlanta with the occasional 3-some with Marina.

Alan Tracy was fucking Tintin out on the Island.

Jeff Tracy and Lady Penelope had the occasional shag in the back of Fab 1 whilst Parker wasn't looking.

Captain Scarlet continually fucked the 4 Angels, as not only was he indestructible, he never lost his erection and could spunk endlessly when aroused. He and Captain Blue had a thing going too.

Steve Zodiac and Loony would have some fun in the back of Fireball XL5 when Venus was driving.

Yes, innocent days.

Preston ish

All the Gerry Anderson stuff was an integral part of my childhood.

Watched all of it and im watching some of the Thunderturds videos on Pube tube at the mo.

Space 1999...I remember distinctly an episode with Peter Duncan (who ended up on Blue Peter) lying in the sick bay almost naked...I hadn't hit puberty then but I probably would have had my first orgasm in my pants if I had done.

"Anyone remember 'Star Maidens' from 1976??

Sexy alien women who rule over men. Dominatrix's for the teenagers watching lol

Yes! Judy Geeson was in it if I remember rightly

Talking of Judy Geeson, anyone ever see the film Inseminoid? There are a couple of scenes I still remember from 1981

Yeah, vaguely remember that one - bit of an Alien rip off? Stephanie Beacham was in it too I think."

Stephanie Beacham... Now she was a young man's wank material

Same here - Loved them.

60th anniversary of Thunderbirds this year with two episodes in cinemas doing the rounds in Hi Def!

If you love stuff Gerry Anderson then listen to the GA podcast (most on YouTube too). Gerry's son Jamie is carrying the torch, developing new stuff and more. The show has gone downhill a bit recently but, I mean, it's been going for over 5 years which, when most podcasts last 10 episodes, is incredible!

"Love Jerry Anderson series, how about Joe 90.

A 8 year old boy brainwashed to kill and assassinate, these days social services will be round there in five minutes flat lol. "

They have often discussed the privacy aspects of Joe 90 on the GA podcast. Especially the idea of dumping the contents of some (dirty?) adult's brain into a young kid! Child abuse?

"Kate Kestrel from Terrahawks released a single called SOS.

I still have a mint 7in copy.

Not signed alas, she couldn't grip the pen."

That was performed live at the 2nd "Stand by for Action" GA music performance at Birmingham Symphony Hall last year. I'd never heard the song before and I absolutely loved it.

Have a look at "Ordeal" in the UFO series. It has, IMHO, the horniest scenes by far in any GA show. Captain Paul Foster (aka Michael Billington), naked apart from a towel in a sauna. He's sweating, hairy, hot, dripping and gorgeous. And it goes on for some time. Whew.

Seems like someone thought that they had all the women on Moonrise for the "dads" so they added something, just once, for the "mums".

Mind you, my eyes were always drawn to the men's string vests on Skydiver back in 1970. I was 12 but obviously something registered ...

Gerry Anderson had no involvement in that and thought it was awful.

"And Terrorhawks not sure if that was a Jerry Anderson one."

Yes that was Jerry Anderson, along with Supercar, Fireball XL 5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90 - then he moved on to the mixed stuff, UFO, Space 1999, Space Precinct - not quite sure where “The Secret Service” came in the order of things, and as you say Terrorhawks.

Non Jerry Anderson Puppet Series I remember was Space Patrol which is being shown on Talking Pictures TV on Saturday Mornings at the moment.

What the youngsters don’t realise is that when Thunderbirds was made, there was nothing else like it on TV at the time. They were spoiled by a lot of the stuff that came later.

There was also Pipkins, with a pig that had a brummie accent - cracked me up.

Always wondered if the owners of this site loved THUNDERBIRDS as they use FAB as a title, and it was the saying everything is ok on THUNDERBIRDS.

The live action film was a bit crap, directed by the chap off Star Trek.
