I’m having mine checked, low energy, low libido and mild ED, I suspect it’s fairly poor for me on the hormone front. Cialis solves the ED but it’s a plaster not a cure. Anyone have any experience or advice? Thanks x

Good man tackling it at source, gps are lazy and they don’t offer a full spectrum hormone panel to a cis dude without being persistent they’d rather give you a blue pill made by a dodgy pharmaceutical giant, that’s only interest is keeping you a customer x let us know what your t levels are after the panel x

Will do. I would advise everyone to do this with their GP. Mine is brilliant and we’ll find the best solution once my results are in. There’s a certain level of risk with each solution and so it’s definitely wise to give it thought and have medical advice.

The low dose daily cialis was my choice. Despite a low libido for me, I still want daily sex. It was a compromise but one that solves the immediate problem.

She, my GP, has asked for a full spectrum and so it will test for everything.

In a lot of cases a good diet, good rest, avoiding alcohol, drugs and tobacco and getting regular exercise can help boost your levels.

Insist on it! I got my T levels checked along with other things via a routine blood test just tell your Dr they’ll hook you in!

I had mine checked about 6 years ago. I'd been really ill a few months before and although my sex drive and perfomance were ok I'd developed slightly enlarged, tender nipples.

Blood tests showed low T levels and they gave a me gel to smear on my stomach every morning for a month or maybe 6 weeks,I forget now.

All fine since

Think I'd rather just neck a pill instead of doing that.

I've been having treatment for this since about 2016 as I had symptoms.

Used to have the daily gel but then found out that its no longer supplied. So went round the houses for about three months before the hospital pharmacist said there is an injection.

Now have this done every ten weeks.

To be honest, after the injection, I tend to feel horny for about two weeks then the sensation reduces.

I have to have my blood checked regularly but the results haven't really shown much difference.

Testosterone can affect bone density along with your libido.

So although you have the injection, your T levels are still low? What’s the answer, or is there not one?

At 35 you need to see your GP! At 57 there’s kind of an expectation that my T levels will be dropping but yours should be high.

Keep on taking the tablets!!

The frequency of the injections has increased from 12 to 10 weeks. In the new year, I've got to have bloods taken just before the next jab and the results will be analysed. Then see where we are.

Got tested GP said I'm low but "borderline"

result we will wait and see.... fucking great....

Plus being diabetic that's the first excuse they use for everything for me (according to them) even though I am perfectly well controlled.

menopause does the same for females that’s why it’s really important to have a dominant sex hormone in your body to keep healthy and function properly

My dominant sex hormone is estradiol I have a female blood profile and I’m regularly screened for all manner of illnesses, one of the pros of being transgender with a proper gender dysphoria diagnosis

I have Nebido, testosterone injections every 10 weeks, since losing a testicle to cancer. If you are worried about low testosterone ask your GP for a referral to an endocrinologist. They are the experts on hormones.

Your body has to maintain certain levels to keep it at its best and optimum level.

dunie rely on your GP to worse than useless get the results yourself and interpret them and if they’re under your age range ask for a prescription it means you’ll have to have a few blood tests to adjust the levels but you’ll be feeling fantastic x

Low libido and low energy can be brought on by mental health

Maybe your hormones are ok and it's a mental thing

Anxiety Depressions and stress

Just a thought

Hope you get things sorted soon

Thank you. You’re definitely correct but in my case, it’s not a mental health / anxiety thing.
