Since anyone with a camera can apparently earn a fortune on there, why aren't you? I think I'd be up for working with a TS lady if anybody wants to be rich!

An old guy years ago said that ladies were sat on a gold mine, and I always thought it odd, as she was sat on a smelly old dining chair.

I think I know now what he meant!

Perhaps because 0.1% make mega money, and 0.5% make big money on the site. Most people get their bits out with one bloke from Kansas and his cat watching

We have friends that comfortably make £3k-£4k a month making content, we even joined them for one video & they paid for a holiday for the 4 of us to Mexico.

Fair play to them but the time it takes to make content is ridiculous!

The new tax rules brought in by HMRC from Jan 1st will see off an awful lot of them I suspect.

Over 30 payments or £1,000 per year from online earnings has now got to be notified to the revenue by the website. Applies to stuff like deliveroo, just eat type stuff and selling on things like ebay as well.

I don’t think it will see them off. They’ll just have to start paying tax if they aren’t already.

I make videos with people who earn a lot from them. Yes it takes time. I’m making videos with someone this Sunday from 8 am until around 4pm. But they prefer to spend their time doing this and earning thousands a month doing something they enjoy instead of being paid less than £2k a month working for some crappy employer.

8 hours to make a porn vid it must be a blockbuster

This is largely true. The stories you hear are only those making good money, not the vast majority making bugger all. Same with podcasts and YouTubers etc.

I also wonder how sustainable it is longterm.

It isn’t one video. It’s several BDSM related videos, which I’ll then process when I get back and I’ll split them into videos of between 5 and 30 minutes long depending on the content.

There are several reasons why some aren’t doing very well:

Not putting in enough time

Not enough variety in the content

Not advertising their profiles anywhere

I make websites for my clients and advertise their services and their videos on their websites.

Yes it’s sustainable. OF isn’t the only website to market adult videos and it isn’t even the best one, not by a long way. And when the UK Online Safety Bill is fully implemented from 2025, video earnings will really take off due to them being behind a paywall.

Hi all I do web cam work and spend around four to five hours on cam I usually make around 260 a night so it all adds up at the end of the month so it is worth doing but you need a nice back ground good, good lighting and be prepared to wait around for people to join your room x

I find it a shame that so many guys are now interested to meet in order to "create content", rather than meeting to actually enjoy one another. See it on twatter all the time - "open for collaborations" etc. Makes it seem very transactional to me!

In many cases it just comes across as doing it for the likes and smacks of seeking validation. I'm actually put off a bit when people describe themselves as "content creators".

Well I think I'll go for a niche market. Rich discreet older gent (single! Gent not gents!) Who wants a private relationship with a gurl like me.

I'm sure (if I could find him ) he will leave me a huge inheritance as well as little gifts along the way. (And not just a storage room full of sex toys, and large bill for storage!!)

On another platform yesterday, a very fit young hunk got in touch.

In exchange for me subscribing to his channel on Only Fans, he wanted to make new content fucking me.

When I asked him what I'd get for the subscription, he told he he'd just started and it was all solo stuff.

Hmmmmmmm . . .

Next thing he blocked me.
