AS a nosy - and horny - teen I "discovered" my dad collected these - I read them all but a lot of it went over my head. I did pick up techniques though that were probbaly somewhat over advanced for a virgin who at that time only had a mate to wank off with - still it got us into oral sex which then was considered breaking a t***o. I recall Forum very fondly. The readers wife’s magazines were good as well but Forum opened up my mind to far more kinky stuff. I was going on a school ski trip and was looking through my dad's sock drawer for some warm socks to take when I found a copy. Took it with me and I and the lads loved it.

Took it back in my pencil case, meaning to put it back when unbeknown to me my dad decided to mark my work. Later on he asked me into the front room when mum was out and told me he had found a 'mucky magazine' in my pencil case and asked where I got it from. I moved to a new area with work in the 90s and went into a newsagents to buy Forum. The lady behind the counter said 'oh good choice, you have good taste in magazines' I also had Fastbike magazine so I asked which one, not really knowing what to say to her. I was nervous about buying porn mags but always a thrill as most of you can remember.

Next month I went back hoping she would be there, and at the third visit she was so I bought the same 2 mags. We both smiled as I walked towards the counter and she said she wondered if she would see me again.

A week later, realising she worked same shifts each week I went back to buy another bike mag and we arranged to go out for a run on Saturday. I picked her up from her friend's place as she said she was borrowing her helmet and gloves which I thought nothing of it. When we stopped for a cold drink at a biker cafe she was almost a different person, there was definitely a post ride thrill going on.

She said said she found the copy of forum that had her story published so we agreed to go back to mine to drop the bike off and grab a coffee. Let's say that we didn't boil the kettle for a good few hours....!

I remember them my ex wife and I started our swingers life through a club advertised in them it was called Aphrodite and you signed up to get a bi monthly contact mage from them, it contained ads from couples and singles.

You had to write someone you fancied and send it to the mag then they would forward it and then you waited for a reply.

It was before computers.

Yes I remember them well and I bought a few, but borrowed most, because money was short then.

You are right, in that they contain a lot of stories, had far more effect. The stories painted a vivid picture in the mind and the imagination did the trick.
