All that wokeness in the Navy has made the prop shafts fail on two of our carriers. That woke stuff gets everywhere, even into the water they're sailing in! "The royal yacht Britannia was a well known gay cruise ?? ![]() ![]() ![]() Back in the 80s I met one of the crew when it had docked in the middle east, can't remember where now, and he said it was rife on the yacht. The rumours of the royals having a coterie of gay staff were true and that extended to the Brittania. | |||

I read today the UK has a grand total of 9 seaworthy ships (excluding the submarines). That's remarkable. | |||

However perhaps only nine of the larger ones are available for operations. Generally speaking, only a third are (in any navy) at any given time. The rest are being refitted or maintained or are at some point on the training pathway, or have just come back and are winding down. | |||
