Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't see anything on it. I'm just wondering what is the best anal lube to use? There's many to pick from and it's quite daunting. I'm used to using standard, water-based sex lube but find it dries out very quickly.

Any advice welcome.

MR B lube is good and liquid silk, I can also recommend K lubes and there are a few variations in each brand look on clonezone or the regulation websites

Tried pretty much everything over the years from Vaseline when I first started. But, I know it's not for everyone, the best I've found is another guys spunk. Seems to be the best lube out.

This forum pretty much sums up the naive & erroneous suggestions on this site.

Water based: it dries up & very quickly if you're still using condoms. Very 20th century.

Olive oil & coconut oil: not good for arse sex.

Silicon based: A bit more expensive, but it goes along way. Great for a wank, arse sex & toys.

I always carry a 10ml bottle in case of casual encounters.

Silicon based first, as it will stay on the surface of skin and up your fundament without soaking in too much. Then apply water based, as and when needed, for extra slide to help with those bigger things that might try to find their way up there.

It’s all down to personal preference, these is no “best”. Just try different ones until you find one you like. Theres not that much between them.

Silicone is great at lubrication but has draw backs. There include that it stains clothing and bedding, it is persistent (great for fucking) so can be a nightmare to clean up after, degrades rubbers including latex so can’t be used with a lot of toys and in particular can’t be used with latex condoms - if you want to use it with wrapped fun a non latex condom will be required.

It is also more expensive and some people don’t like the smell.

I’d use Coconut oil for raw fun and a water based lube for wrapped.
