"I think you're a cu*t! Just saying! The lad from "Canal Boat Diaries" is alternative and interesting! Unlike you!"

I couldn’t agree more. It’s probably the most relaxing thing on the telly of an evening.

I love it.

For a long time before the tv series Robbie was a regular you tuber and there are many videos on his channel there.

I personally really like the program I find it a nice gentle watch and so interesting as well, the history of the canals and the industrial heartland. I also think it's really great to see someone just living a kinda alternative lifestyle and just occupying his own space quietly.

Robbie also composes the incidental music in the series. The piece they use alot that dose sound a little sea shanty ish is called.... Windy Biscuits !

Your welcome

I used to know a female friend who had a narrow boat, she was a naturist like me.

She used to go all around the canals in the nude, nobody cared it was fantastic that it was ok to be naked in the countryside .

It was a good time but 25 years ago, not sure if it would be ok today...

I’m looking for a narrow boat as we speak. It’s a really good alternative lifestyle. It’s not cheap way of living any more though, it’s comparable with buying a flat up north.

St. John's, Worcester.

A more interesting programme title would be Robbie Cumming on The Naughty Lass.

There, I've said it.

🤣

A cousin has one (wealthy southerner), cost him 6 figures and he spends 4/5 months of the year touring on it.

The clue was in the name. Can't say anyone was mislead into watching Canal Boat Diaries expecting it to be Fast and Furious on water.
