Just saw the clip of Kemi giving the face off to Angela Rayner recently regarding the Deputy Ministers task over house building. Kemi had the role of Housing Minister once herself, no doubt aware of the Tories absolute failure on that score, but in Kemi's first Catfight with Angela (can't wait till they get into the mud ring together meooow..) apparently if Labour need to reach their target of 1 million and a half new homes over the next 5 years then they need to be building 800 a day, and so far with 2 weeks into their government theres like, how many so far? With Angela set up as the fall guy.

It's not achievable. All parties need to come clean on this and declare affordable and social Housing any governments priority as a present and accelerating future emergency..

We could just pressgang all illegal arrivals into the construction industry, get them working as brickies labourers or scaffolders goffers..

In the lead-up to the 2019 election a certain Mr Corbyn was proposing carpeting the country with trees at the rate of several thousand a day. Had this happened then yes would could built endless tree houses.

Guess the only answer is the return of the Highrise ( have lived in one on Bishport Avenue ) and introduction of capsule dwellings. Tax unoccupied bedrooms over and above 1 spare bedroom of private and social housing , investing the proceeds into building social housing . So family homes are available for families and have a national reset of house prices to the true value of the property as a home, not as an asset. Move away from home ownership to state owned social housing , abolish buy to let and tax multiple house ownership to the hilt .

The Brits are pretty good at hoovering up holiday homes on the continent.

Cant we send the would be refugees there?

Obviously we would have to disguise them as typical Brit tourists, make sure they get pissed nightly and fornicate in public.

Sounds a bit like San Francisco Pride...

But seriously, yes, I think get them kitted out at JD Sports, get their Vapes, get their spray tan sessions in advance, a 6 pack for the flight over, and Bob's your uncle.

Mind you, there will probably be a bunch of middle class retired activists lying on the flight runway to stop the fake holiday plan from taking off..

Also, if it leaves from Glasgow there may be some Weggies snuck in there with the fake tourists, and I might be amongst them for a free holibob..

You do realise that "illegal" immigrants only make up just over 10% of all immigration? And around 75% of them have a legitimate claim for asylum (and, therefore will become"legal"? Are you advocating forcing people who are here legally to leave?
