Very large old house on three floors with own parking and roof terrace.

Clean and well attended most days. Wide range of guys all there for the same thing. Usually able to find at least one suitable guy no matter what your interests and how fussy you are. If you want action you need to be prepared to make the first move, as most of the guys are waiting for the other guy and you will miss out. That said always plenty of action whenever I have visited.

Greenhouse Darlaston is a good sauna and has been always quite busy when I have been with a good mix of guys looking for fun.

You also get a few gay couples in there which like extra fun.

Heroes in Stourbridge is another one which is also good. Not as busy but clean with lots of rooms to play.

I sometimes feel going to a sauna can be a much simpler choice for fun than trying to arrange on here.

The problem is people have different views on what constitutes a good sauna.

For some it's simply how much cock they can get. For others it's things like slings and glory holes.

My first consideration is good facilities. I love a decent jacuzzi and a steam room with steam. I also appreciate friendly staff. The availbility of sex isn't that big a factor but then it's always hit and miss.

The steam room at Splash, Leicster is often very good and the staff are great. The jacuzzi is a good size but the bubbles are weak. Splash also get spoiled by self centred punters who clog up the walk ways in the 'rest areas'while bitching and looking down their noses at others. They also clog the jacuzzi on occasions.

The Greenhouses at Luton and Darlaston score highly for staff and jacuzzis and the steam rooms at Darlaston are good especially the small one. The Luton steam room is hit and miss.

I've been to Stourbridge and Mansfield and they have hot tubs. Neither really worked for me. The staff are pleasant though.

My worst experience in recent years was Touch at Swindon. Hot tub permanently occupied by 2 guys, pig ignorant punters and staff who just couldn't be bothered. I'm told it's better usually.

Bern a long time dince I visited Leeds or Manchester so I can't comment.

I really miss Unit 2 in Birmingham. Two great steam rooms and a fabulous jacuzzi.

Love the Helsinki, only been twice so far but very friendly and had fun both times, better the second time as I was a bit more relaxed less nervous. Takes me about 50min drive to get there, but well worth it, maybe going again this week, but definitely next week.

There are three more or less equidistant from me, namely Greehouse (the biggest, many rooms to get lost in and slightly impersonal as a result), Heroes of Stourbridge (medium size) and Spartans at Erdington (smallest but actually quite friendly as a result). Living in York I used to go to the old Steam in Armley, Leeds but after it suffered the fire the new one over the road just doesn't live up to what the old one was like. My favourite is Gentry in Hull, it's fairly small but easy to get to and it's very friendly and I always manage to score. Saturday early afternoons are the best times (I think).
