Basically douching cleans/clears the anus and rectum, an enema (aka colonic irrigation) clears the anus/rectum and colon.

For most practical needs douching is sufficient for anal sex. More extreme play and you may be better to consider an enema.

I had no idea how I am meant to make sure my anus was clean enough inside before meeting a guy.

I wanted to do my best to be clean as I have no idea what the guy I met might want to do and would hate to think he would feel I wasn't clean so I took the shower head ohh and put the hose to my anus after setting the water temp to just above cold. I then felt the water filling my insides and could feel it up near my belly.

After that it took well over one hour for water and other stuff to stop coming out of me and it felt very extreme and I've been thinking surely guts don't go through hours of this every time they meet.

After reading this post I think I've been going over the top so maybe need to put the hose there for seconds rather than mins.

Can anyone recommend easier ways of doing this
