Sevco pumping Killie will of course have the 'succulent stenography corps' thinking that the Rainjurz are coming for us.

Last night's performance was far from exceptional but we kept at it in the face of the sheep rigidity. It was as if Goodwin had returned! Winning such a game in that weather was the stuff of Champions.

The extra two days rest for Celtic before the final will be an advantage. Rangers will be really trying for a shock result v an erratic Spurs side on a rocking Ibrox Thursday night. They may get it.

Whatever the result they will be physically and mentally spent so I don't see them winning the cup. It will either be a dominant high-scoring display from Septic or a scrappy, boring affair on a muddy Hampden pitch with Rangers losing by a goal.

An exquisite first touch from Reo for the goal...

The Big A was unlucky not to score with his header. A fine save...

Four games without a win now for the Dons. Had to laugh in autumn when some Dandies were saying they were winning the league or the treble even!

You can't be a real fan and disrespect bona-fide legends like Aitken and Packie like that. Especially one your age. Take it you didn't follow them in your younger days...

Are Boruc and Forster better keepers than PB? No chance. Forster has how many caps? And when he played you had little competition domestically. Boruc and Douglas have to be ahead of him simply for their achievements.

Preposterous. Just strength and bullying. He did the job required. Paul Elliott was a classy, ball-playing defender way ahead of his time. Nice hair too lol. Stubbs was a better player than Balde. Most fans would agree. Like your mate Richey Baws lol.

Astonishing that you would brag about such meagre possession at home lol

He was a good keeper. Big prescence due to his size. Not the most agile because of that. Hence few international caps.

“Emile Heskey was a nice lad, quiet lad but a great lad, and we played Celtic away once and I accidentally fell out with Bobo Balde. We went on a run and I accidentally bumped into him and thought I hit him but I didn’t.

“He started giving me loads so I gave him a bit back, as you do, which was a mistake. I just should have shut up because it’s not really me to get involved in that. As we’re coming off I caught Bobo Balde in the corner of the tunnel with his top off but I didn’t assume it was for me, which it was.

“As I got a bit closer he came flying towards me and Emile has jumped in and pinned him, stopped him, but Emile’s strength saved my life, never mind my day. He just told him to calm down. He’s got that side in him, I think his uncles were all doormen and he’s got that side to him.”

The voice of reason

Remember the crap spouted when he won Manager of the Month?

He won't win anything in a genuinely challenging league. Spurs aren't better off they are worse overall.

They can't admit he succeeded in a very weak league with no real challenge. Grim reality...

Not progress. Because your squad is worth £60 million more than Zagreb and you should be winning away to them.

Rangers beat a Nice side worth £130 million more than them, emphatically.

Scotlands youngest club easily thwarted your 10 in a row 'this is only the beginning' arrogance, romping to a 25-point unprecedented margin between first and second. Also registering a record goals-for record in the process.

You have to face the CL playoffs due to your inadequate, almost nonexistent coefficient contributions over the past five seasons.

Look at your dismal record in those playoffs.

Reality check. You only 'spent big', ahem, this summer because the board know it's the last season of guaranteed CL loot. And has that worked out a smart investment? Are Idah and Engels REALLY worth £20 million?

I don't see you buying any £10 million players anytime soon. Meanwhile in League One Brum City have no hesitation in spending £20million on one striker lol...

It's enreasonable and nigh-on impossible for a clubs squad worth £80million to compete with a club whose squad is worth £790million in comparison.

Which is why if Rangers do pull off a shock result v an off-form Spurs it's such an impressive achievement. And it's Jabba The Ange who is facing the sack lol.

They don't have Hagi and Danilo available so don't see it, personally.

I think the final is maybe too soon but you will get a contest and I can see you getting your comeuppance at Ibrox in the New Year.

You are nowhere near as good as you think you are. You wouldn't be drawing with Aberdeen if you were.

So BVBs squad is worth £330 million more than Septics. £330 million = seven goals advantage. That's your self-justification?

So Rangers can get beat 14 or 15 nil tonight considering this logic then? And it's perfectly acceptable?

It isn't. And they won't. Even if they get trounced 5-0 tonight by Spurs it's a better result than your BVB annihilation/humiliation.

Celtic success so far among others

Success the first British team to win the European Cup.

Success nine points in this years CL and looking like the Bhoys will progress to the next phase.

Success oodles in profit and maturing a progressively skillful team who can bring points back from away games in Europe.

Success at least £40 million pounds incoming, some of which will be prudently spent to strengthen the team further thanks to them winning the league and qualifying for and playing well in the CL.

Fickle..."

And Liverpool apparently and probably Arsenal and Chelsea and maybe just in case Brighton hang in to top 6 Kandi will probably declare support for them too lol .

Admit you are a bitter, bigoted Rangers blue nose at least Kandi it's so bleedin obvious you are, but then again they haven't won anything so you won't will you.

Mon The Connie. I wonder if any Spurs fans will have found a seat in the Govan Stand? A febrile atmosphere, much more intense than say Molineux...

The atmosphere at Molineux is just fine. Much better than Celtic Park could dream of if they were on a similar run.

Ah, I'm sure it is mate but surely less of a challenge for an infiltrator in the away end. I knew a fella who was a bit frightened to go into the Wolves end to watch his team once.

Agreed re Celtic... In our defence when things go wrong, many of us get really upset. For me getting over a defeat to Rangers happens on the same day.

Life being short.

As a side note, Friday marks the 70th anniversary of the famous Wolves v Honved game under floodlights at the Molineux that lead directly to the formation of the cup that you are so proud of getting regularly beaten in.

Oh and it was the same run of floodlit games that we played against many European sides, including Real Madrid (won 3 - 2), Spartak Moscow (won 4 - 0) oh and a little unknown club that played in green and white hooped shirts (won 2 - 0)

The little unknown club that is now famous from Gaza to Gambia...

One of the most iconic tops in World Football.

One of the very best atmospheres in Europe according to the likes of Messi.

The veritable selection of Celeb Fans. Wee Lana et al. Why? Because we have something special..

Just about every premier league club is known worldwide, as are most Spanish, German and Italian top flight teams, so that’s nothing special.

Many many tops are instantly recognisable, or iconic, especially ones that no one else can be bothered to copy 🤣🤣

Wolves have released a copy of their floodlit friendly top to mark the anniversary of the Honved game. Now that is a special shirt.

Most top flight clubs have great atmospheres at their games (except Arsenal maybe lol)

Every club (even West Brom or Rangers) have their share of celebrity fans.

So all in all, I’d say lots of clubs have something ‘special’ tbh.

....

..

Indeed P.L teams are known. We've been known about for decades following the success we had in Europe when we punched above our weight- 67 onwards into the 70's. We were widely regarded as one of the top European teams.

A different scenario to PL teams being known across the globe. One built on football success rather than participation in a league utterly entrenched in money.

In terms of atmosphere the reference was to European matches.Leading players have consistently raved this century about the Celtic Park atmosphere on these nights.

In terms of the number of celeb fans, the numbers speak for themselves re Celtic. That is not to gloat, more a matter of fact. Of course it's immersed in irishness as well.
