I think I understand it when people who haven't come out are referred to as confused. Thing is, I don't feel confused. It just wouldn't feel right to fully come out as gay. It doesn't feel like it describes me. What is a man who dresses as a woman and is attracted to women, but doesn't want sex with them; who loves sex with men, but isn't attracted to them... called? Whatever the name is, that's me

You are not alone there.

You don't need to call yourself anything though. It is you, and others are like you too.

We are all unique as regards who we are specifically attracted to sexually so naming our own particular "hue" of sexuality is virtually impossible, because there are simply far too many "shades" of sexuality on the spectrum to specifically name them seperately!

However, if a label for your own specific sexuality is a must, I think you are a KatieSensoriasexual! 😉

Just be yourself, whoever or whatever that is, and don't worry about conforming to anyone else's stereotype.

The directory of LGBTQUI+ABCZXY2b6£ sexual orientation and gender cataloguing probably has a label if you care about such things. But 99% of people might not have a clue what it means.

I don't know the answer but I know I feel similar .

I still enjoy straight porn and always enjoy checking out women, but I want sex with men. I guess I'm bisexual and queer.

You are whatever you choose to identify yourself as.

There is a lot of strands in there. A good therapist may be able to help you untangle some of it.

Based on the OP's declaration I'm not convinced he needs a therapist.

You are you, no need for a label , but I’m sure a psychologist or psychiatrist could come up with one . I’d “label” what you describe as bisexual transvestism..but am probably way of kilter. Labels are becoming 20th century ..

Be happy

The reality of finding out that others see you as different ,can be very confusing. It certainly a way to find out who your friends are, although I describe myself as pansexual i don't really agree with labels. Its not easy being who you are and not what mainstream society expects, but your time in this wonderful world goes quickly don't waste it worrying about other people's opinions of you just be you xxx

Thank you, everybody, for your responses. It's good to read through them.

For sure, I'm not confused; I know what I like. Thing is, I'd like to go more public about it (I'm in the closet), but couldn't say I'm fully gay cos I don't fancy men.

It'd be freeing to be more open with my preference in public (and I don't mean walking out in dress). I feel so comfortable in how I now am, and feel ready to 'out'; just don't know how up explain.

Thanks again everyone x

Enough with labels. You are what you are and people are more complicated than a word to sum them up their whole personality

if you really feel you need a label perhaps reflect on your statement that you don't 'fancy' men.

.

Your profile says you don't like fat or hairy guys. that signifies what you are NOT attracted to

.

doesn't that mean that you do fancy men, specifically that fit your requirements?

.

even if it just cock that interests you, it is an attraction to what a man offers that a woman does not.

.

maybe the definition of gay means more to you than just sex, eg a stereotypical lifestyle, mannerisms, behaviour, way of dressing etc and you don't want to be associated with that

.

you have sex with men, that is a homosexual act, does it bother you to use that definition?

.

there is a lot of baggage around the terminology gay/homosexual created by society and the type of man that has historically beeen portrayed

.

homo is just latin for same sex versus hetero meaning opposite sex.

.

having sex with someone of the same sex is just homosexual sex, it doesn't need to say anything more about you as a whole.

.

perhaps you consider that engaging in a homosexual act is in some way wrong so don't want to pigeon hole yourself into a category you may consider problematic.

.

maybe read up on internalised homophobia and see if you identify with any aspects.

.

perhaps you feel you want to talk about what you enjoy and that is why you feel you need a label, you can simply say you enjoy no strings sex with certain types of men.

.

your enjoyment of wearing of clothing most commonly associated with females can range from a kink to dysmorphia, only you know why you enjoy it and if it is social pressure that makes you want to understand it and have a label for it

.

whatever label you decide upon, or not, live your life as you wish, whether that be open or not, just enjoy the sex

I personally don't care much about labelling. It's just easier for people to understand what your preferences are when you say you're bi or gay. I say I'm bi,but when I get to chatting to someone,I tend to explain further, as I am not attracted to men, only their cock, and still enjoy sex with women very much. Confusing, I know, but there you go..

Who cares lol

Personally, I'm attracted intimately more to women but also love the pure sexual aspect with men especially well hung men. Don't find them attractive but intense sexuality of seeing a nice hard cock is super sexciting lol. Love bending over and taking a decent sized cock up me but the sight of wet pussy is great and again love bending over to eat them.

I suppose you are what you want to be, nobody really cares if there's a label or not, and if there is a label why should you have to wear it. I'm gay, is gay a label? In the old fashioned sense of the word I should be happy and jolly, in reality I tend to be a miserable old git, but a happy miserable old git who just happens to be a man who is majorly attracted to other men lol.
