Just been re-watching these again (box set) and just forget how brilliant these are.

Watching the One Foot In The ‘Algarve’ special one; stuck in the ‘prison’ which really was their villa rental!

Fantastic.

Wondered if you enjoyed them and what episodes were your favourite?

I watched the back to back during lockdown...very well written and acted.

I watch them as and when they pop up on Yesterday or Gold.

I quite fancied Patrick and Mr Swainey.

Richard Wilson had a house just round the corner from me as a kid. Never once saw him there. It was always locked up with nobody at home. Brilliant series and a fantastic actor. He was immense in Tutti Frutti.

Not only was it well written but it took you through a hole series of emotions but you always seem to end up in tears of laughter.

Excellent series. I have several favourite episodes but one has to be when he goes absolutely nuts at people filling up the skip outside his house, also where he's dodging Ronnie and Mildred when they arrive at his house "bugger off the pair of you" he shouts from his lounge! Also where his house gets burgled and he tells the police "there's about to be two brutal murders" there's many more funny episodes.

A green Citroën 2CV left in the skip with an old mattress inside...

I'm turning into him.

Attitude and intolerance, the fruit of frustration at the way of everything and everyone today.

An older mate of mine is an aggressive version of him.

A brilliant show in which the acting was second to none, all the characters were memorable in their own way and I'm sure we can recognise Victor in ourseles at times I know I can.

I also enjoyed his cameo appearance in an episode of Father Ted, Hilarious.
