Barnsley

During my apprenticeship in 1979 we hand made various engineering tools.

Its an odd thing that I have used some of them on odd occasion over the years, however I left engineering and had 30 years doing completely different job in planning, but I have them all

Admittedly damp has caused some rusting but they’re still there

I contacted a mate from the day he still has his

Has anyone else got their first tools??

I still use the junior hacksaw frame I made in school metal work but the screwdriver & clamp were just scrap & explain why I didn't continue. Now I stick to model building in brass, n/s, alu, plastics & wood.
