Having dabbled with other sites where I had a lot less success I’d suggest that this is actually one of the better ones. At least there are other men in my somewhat remote part of the world on here! Sometimes they genuinely want to meet and sometimes they actually show up as arranged.
As to what makes a guy string others along, who knows 🤷🏻♂️. It could be to fuel a wank fantasy or he really wants to but can’t bring himself to go through with an actual meet. Most guys on here seem to in relationships and hooking up has to slotted in between other commitments. Where others are involved plans can change suddenly. I imagine that there might even be a few cases of guys who get a kick out of stringing others along with never any intention of meeting, but they’re probably relatively few.
Whatever the case there are probably always going to be no-shows. I’m not sure that creating another social site would make much difference.
