Kandy I said as usual your analysis is wrong and skewed by your bigoted Rangers background, You said "He has lost many of the fans. Listen to talksport. Look online."

So does every manager that hits a bad spell due to loss of form and injuries to key players, you generalise too much and you are incorrect in your assumptions as per usual.

"Spurs getting beat by Rangers considering the £700 million gulf in squad worth is like getting beaten by a Championship/League One side. He knows his side have huge problems coping defensively/ at set pieces but openly doesnt care about the fact".

Another incorrect assumption based on your bigoted opinion he was addressing this until all of the defence got injured now he has to make do.

What do a huge club like Spurs with one of the best stadiums in the world have to do with an insignificant former club of Anges?

And here it is your bigotry and bitterness for all to see.

Celtic have one of the largest fan bases in the world.

The first British team to win the European Cup, how that must rankle you lol 😂 😂 😂.

He is already under pressure, the bookies favourite to get sacked and received the dreaded 'vote of confidence' from the board. He has dragged Spurs down to the bottom half of the table. He loses tonight and v Southampton good chance he is gone.

If Levy panics this could happen, but again you make sweeping ill judged and ill informed statements only because he is a former Celtic manager who regularly thumped Rangers, sad really you are just wrong and skewed and biased.

This thread continues the Premier League chat.

Liverpool my other love of 52 years are building a head of steam now with only Arsenal and Chelsea the main threat, Chelsea are looking to have found 2 teams out of the NFL methods used to form their challenge under Maresca and Arsenal are starting to look really good again. Love watching Fulham, Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford at home too great attacking football, this may be the highest scoring PL ever.

Spurs very weak from injuries and playing away from home it was a good point for them in the end and shows the lack of quality in the Rangers team and due to the lack of EPL millions the difference between a weakened EPL team and a Scottish team, if Aston Villa v Celtic is a real game for much needed points that will be the measure of the gulf between the leagues - if it really truly exists.

Arsenal are just too inconsistent this season. Saturday was a missed opportunity.

Already it's Liverpool or Chelsea for the title...

If Arteta doesn't win anything this season will it be time for a change at the Emirates?

A great weekend for Man Utd beating City away, 1-2, however they remain in 13th place.

Gary O'Neil and Russell Martin both join the managerial merry-go-round, and with West Ham playing tonight, there could well be one more jumping on.

Chelsea, the only real contenders moving closer to Liverpool.

Too soon to rule out teams other than Liverpool and Chelsea, we're not even halfway through the season yet.

As far as Arteta goes, I can't see him going anywhere soon. He has a good ethos and is well-liked by the majority of Arsenal fans, winning isn't everything.

The squad is also stronger this season with much of the dead wood being removed, and decent youngsters such as Nwaneri getting more game time. We now have several options for all positions, something that was lacking for a while.

A club the size of Arsenal should be winning silverware though. Especially with the talent that is in the current team/squad. Also the money that has been given to Arteta to spend shows that the club wants to win trophies in particular the league.

Too many draws this season. Inconsistent teams tend not to win titles.

Arsenal and the negative play at times when they are ahead doesn't sit well with the team they have, they need a quality striker to go for the title full on. Chelsea look like the biggest challenger for me, but can the defence cope hmm . Liverpool my second love still ahead and still to really have a barnstorming performance but closing in for the title, after the new year it could be too big a gap and then a fight for second place between Arsenal and Chelsea.

Liverpool still not looking good in the back . They shouldn’t let Tottenham to score two easy goals specially when they were 5-1 up. Andy Robertson is great in attacks but when he has to come back makes terrible mistakes . Having said that I honestly don’t think any team in premier league plays such a beautiful football like Liverpool atm . Enjoy watching them every week . Cmon Liverpool sack Ruud van Nistelrooy this time 6-0 I would say . Btw enjoyed Bournemouth 3-0 . God that nose up arse Ruben Amorim is Another waste of money , keep spending .

Yes Joa Moutinho was a great lynchpin they all seemed to grow from, but a selling club is a selling club as I know only too well. The Ajax model is great business but it's difficult to sustain a quality team under it, I suppose even more now with the FFP regs. However, we as fans still believe our team can grow and improve too.

As a Evertonian i cant complain about our December results. Arsenal away was terrible to watch though, thats not Everton but we just have to survive this year and get a restart in the summer - new ground / owners/ manager

Wolves will climb now, still too many good players to be down there

Dont know what has happened at City, but we could have pinched it on Boxing day, something very wrong there but no pity from most id guess

am wondering how many managers have been sacked after losing to Liverpool but as a reminder I mention 5 when Liverpool was going through the sticky patch

Scott Parker - Liverpool 9-0 Bournemouth

Marco Silva - Liverpool 5-2 Everton

Jose Mourinho - Liverpool 3-1 Man Utd

Francesco Guidolin - Swansea City 1-2 Liverpool

Bilic - West Ham 1-4 Liverpool

Look at premier league table whenever you bored just look at the champion league table , happy new year !!!!

Got a feeling they’re not particularly trying this season. Possibly because they feel they’re gonna get a huge points deduction/automatic relegation whatever they do, so there is little point in making any effort to make another title winning season

That’s a brilliant excuse , don’t pass it to their fans they would love to buy this one . Of course they tried , even more than last year but the injuries did cost them a lot especially after Rodri gone .

The same thing for Liverpool who would have thought at the end of year they would be 8 points above the second team with one game in the hand.

Didn't they just get old Zangt and once the shield of Rodri went it all fell apart. The Cole Palmer error must be the error of the season too.

Arne Slot gave the Liverpool team focus, respect and trust and they gave him belief in his measured approach and we are reaping the rewards, he is the best management appointment of the year

Predictable tactics by Newcastle today.

When you see United's keeper and Martinez in defence, you stick Dan Burn and his massive frame right in the mixer for corners.

There's a directness to football in the Premier sometimes which maybe Amorim isn't used to.

Liverpool

I'm an LFC STH - Kop 304, being a red at the moment is a little like being Napoleon, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake” I like the way Slot is not provoking anyone but focusing soley on Liverpool sweeping teams out of the way.

It's yours to lose. I'm an Arsenal man due to family connections to Arsenal but have always had a real admiration for Liverpool and it's supporters.

Always liked Arsenal, and I was there in '89.

"Man u look like a team that will be relegated..."

Spot on , even their manger agreed that they can get relegated , tbh that useless Ole Gunnar Solskjær stayed 969 days as their manager, every single week they lost he came to interview said we played really well with a big smile . How stupid was man united organisers to keep him so long , no wonder they can’t recover anymore . . Sorry for their fans sat in stadium in cold weather , 3-0 , 2-0 . And then this week probably 4/5 -0 . Total embarrassing

Honestly who ever picked him up for Liverpool must be a football genius , firstly he is coming from Netherland and the key players of Liverpool also from there so that was really clever, secondly he wasn’t expensive , . In opposite with man united manager nose up Ruben he didn’t start to change whole team’s lineup , he just adjust the team so well that even klopp will clap for him . He knows exactly which players are the best against different teams and he let almost every player to play in each match . He is really cool.

Yes and also look at how he was patient during the 10 men and trying players in different positions until he got the right blend. A master tactician too.

Klopps last words at Anfield were to rhyme Arne Slot, Arne Slot he knew what he was doing too.

Very happy ending to the year.

We will find out if they have the ability to play for pride, but I think we are in such a rich vein of form that it could be a cricket score.
