"In the hope that it’s not too soon for a festive move, I’ll play Bilston’s Cracker to Vauxhall " Another subtle well executed move there too Homooso, Bilston's Cracker, a long time since that's been out in play! Ravenscourt Park.

"Hmmm I might just pop over to see the MI5 boys. I have some equipment I need them to inspect. I hear they are all very well equipped. Westminster " A classic move there Homooso, well manoeuvred! You'll of course realise that you'll need an appointment and a password to gain entry to MI5, but ask to see "Brenda" in "Dept Q" he has versatile hands that heal with anything technical, he was an absolute whizz with my old Bush when a valve blew last back-end. Well, it's very quiet on all fronts this evening and it's a while since I've checked in, so I'm going to attempt Eisenbahn's Triple to hopefully touch base at:- Mornington Crescent. Over to you to put the next round into play chaps, double points this evening for the inclusion of an Ampersand and there's a Edradour Malt awaiting you at The Bullington.

"I am completely lost. English is my mother tongue but I don't understand a word of what is going on here" Oh Lord! How sad! One appears to have been prevented from p-m-ing you, otherwise I would have vainly attempted to enlighten you as to the inexplicable and unfathomable enigma. Peace be with you.🌿

"Returning on the Underground this evening after consuming several relaxing beverages at the Horn and Strumpet I fell asleep dreaming about a hirsute guardian of woolly mammals. Luckily I woke up in time to alight at Shepherd’s Bush" Dashed spiffing play there Hardy old boy, interesting to learn of your liking of hirsutism, although damned far from my own preference in the ...err department of the 'nads of course - I hasten to add! Well, I say!... a state of inebriation certainly lubricates and fine tunes your acute prowess. It's simply an age since I was up the old Bush but your choice of play of a arboreal theme inspires one to scoot orf at the double to :- Burnt Oak. (Trusting that those confounded ancient phosphor cross headings there have been replaced).

"I’m a little rusty these days since moving North so, if allowable in December, I’d like to play the Auerbach defence. " Invalid move, please make yourself familiar with the 1952 Bullington Club Convention Rules (as amended) which state that a currently open LT rail network station must be named in every move. I have made an extensive search through the MC annals and it is with regret that I am unable to trace any references to the Auerbach Defence which would indicate that its use has not been approved.

Whilst you do indeed make a very valid point I think you, understandably, assume I *was* playing the Auerbach Defence when in fact I was simply asking it is allowable. Your answer indicates it is not so I graciously withdraw the request and thank you for your detailed guidance. I am now in the unenviable position of having exposed my ignorance and thus shall - in accordance with the Perriweather Convention - simply say Becontree.

" I did fully comprehend your question regarding the Auerbach Defence old chap, I was merely pointing out that there was no such reference to such in the minuted records of the MC annals that I ploughed through with a fine tooth comb, so to reiterate my answer, the lack of reference to the Auerbach Defence in the MC record would indicate that it had not been approved for play, in retrospect I should have also stated therefore that it's not allowed within the MC game. Although I think that you've already concluded so. I thank you for implementing the provision under the Perriweather Convention and your impressive move to Beacontree. A devil of a place to negotiate as I recall, so bravo! bravo!

"Well saved, and a genius use of Perriwether! For obvious reasons I’m playing Turkey Street" Ah ha! Devilishly executed there Homooso! I trust that you remembered to put the giblets aside! Well a busy afternoon at the All Gas & Gaiters Society's Seniors Christmas Buffet, I've been invited to join one of the old boys for drinks at his club in:- Nine Elms.

"Gentlemen, a health warning. Looking forward to receiving a prolonged tongue to anus encounter I noticed two products from Q2M. Rim Cleaner and Prep. I duly ordered them. However, on delivery I discovered, just in time, they are car wheel cleaner and an oil additive respectively. Musing on my narrow escape I travelled in anticipation to Swiss Cottage " Begads! Appreciate the caveat Hardy old chap, dashed distasteful situation there, the confounded rotters would be promptly decapitated if I were left to it! On that note I shall head to:- Tower Hill - let heads roll!
