The urge to feminise

Nr Stratford-upon-Avon

I'm unlikely to pass, I don't feel trans, happy with male mode going about my normal day.

But more recently I find myself really wanting to go the whole hog with makeup, wig and breast forms to be as feminine as possible.

I would probably look terrible, is it worth bothering?

Do it, if only for your own mental wellbeing. I'm sure you'll experience some pretty intense gender Euphoria if you do.

Do whatever makes you happy.

No-one else's approval or validation is needed for your happiness.

The only person you need to "convince" is yourself.

Just do what you enjoy, it doesn't matter what others think. 80% of my life is 'average everyday male' which gets boring sometimes. The other 20% I escape into a different persona, like an actor playing a role, and become Melissa Mercury. It gives a whole new perspective on life.

I had a time when I use to dress fully in public felt unbelievably liberating, more than anything I'd ever done

Only issue was time.

At least an hour to get the femme look, and half hour to get back to male mode.

Looks like you’re most of the way there already.

I dress as Alison whenever I get the opportunity. I do it because I enjoy it, I like how I feel when I'm dressed.

If I happen to meet with someone I treat that as a bonus. I'm not really bothered what others might think, so go for it if it makes you feel good

You could easily burn through a lot of money trying to find the right hair and makeup for you.

Sometimes, booking a session with a makeover service can avoid this.

It might be money well spent.

Also, use the plentiful videos on YouTube etc which take you through step by step.

I never used to think it was my thing, until a sexy young top told me he wanted to switch and would I feminise him.

I did, and he looked a complete natural as a she. (Lads in their 20s with wrinkle-free faces )

It's easy to waste a huge amount of money starting out, on cosmetics that don't match your skin tone or eye colour, styles that look more clownish than womanly etc etc

There's a huge amount of resources out there about make-up, styles, hair etc.

It pays to do some homework first.

Try a few cheap bits of make up first, don't spend loads until you are sure, get some eyeliner, some foundation and some lipstick, see how it goes.

Wigs? Would just avoid the party ones like smiffys, you donr need to spend hundreds to have a go. Fb market place is a great place to find wigs.

Wigs can change the whole shape of your face and make a huge difference.

Do you know what look you like? Have a look how attractive women wear their hair and do their eyes.

Oh, get some make up wipes, donr try to wash it off in the shower, Get a pack of them as well.

Good luck, send me a pic of your first go!

Several years ago I bought a cheap makeup kit in a local 'Home and Bargain' store, and a friend gave me another similar one. They were good for experimenting with, and I still have them.

Following an online tutorial I now have some slightly more expensive foundation which matches my skin tone, plus lipstick, nail polish, and false nails.

I have one very good quality wig in brown which was donated by a friend. I also have a cheaper, long, curly, copper red one which bought from annabelles's wigs. They have a good selection on their website, many of which are less than £30.

It pays to look at pictures of genetic females, comparing the bone structure of their faces to your own. Then look at the style of their hair and how it suits them.
