Do you have one

Mine a great bloke but it seems that literally whatever he thinks he says

Walking along he reads out loud all the names on stalls in markets, names of pubs but it’s worse

We were at a bar a lovely young woman in a revealing dress aged about 20

As I walked up to him bearing in mind were standing next to her

He nods towards her and says

“I could come all over her tits.”

FFS what can you say, was only hoping that as it was busy she hadn’t heard

There’s lots more from him like that…

A really great nice man but goodness me!

We all think such things but don’t voice them

Not that I am aware but think I must have mutual friends who are embarrassing as I have often overheard my mates saying they do

Not embarrassing but a very clumsy friend, spills a drink at any restaurant we go to, often trips himself up, etc.

If it's a true mate you'll accept his/her faults and shouldn't feel or see the person as "embarrassing". That's not being a true mate

Being a true mate means sticking with them even though they are embarrassing. The OP seems like a true mate.

Again you are missing the point. It must effect you to make a song and dance about it.

On the contrary, the OP admits to feeling embarrassed by his friends behaviour but still stands by him .That for me is the definition of a true mate .

Yet come on here behind the mate's back to moan about him. Like I said, shouldn't matter or affect you in the first place, if you're a true mate

Unfortunately some people are naturally devoid of having a social filter, also certain mental conditions such as Autism, ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome feature this unfortunate aspect.
