FabGuys.com forum: Is not meeting becoming more common?

After there were a few more meets coming out of lockdown, I am wondering if folk are more reluctant than ever to meet these days. One day in tge last week over 100 viewedmy profile but hardly any messages and I got no new meets.

I'm finding the same too, but am just assuming that it's an age thing on my part at 66 y/o, I guess younger guys have more regular and frequent meets? Fewer older guys looking to meet and even fewer younger guys looking to meet older guys, that's my personal conclusion anyway.

A lot of younger guys do contact me. I do meet some of them but not many. But I expect more meets at this time of the year but it doesn't seem to be happenning!

I haven't had a meet since April this year. And that was the only meet I had. To be fair I have had an invite or two but not been able to take up their offer. I get more people viewing my profile, fabbing a pic or two and sending an email. As nice as that is, having a firm invite I can accept would be nice. Maybe more in the Spring.

I haven't had any meets for ages, even though I could accom.

I think overall that:

1. most people on here are mainly looking for tops and there aren't too many of these about.

2. Guys are getting more and more picky these days (me included).

3. availability is a big factor when you're married with a family and work daytime.

I have a regular guy but beyond that Ive only had 2 meets in the past 6 months or so

Some of its choice some circumstances.

I get alot more offers than I could possibly make, so guys are still meeting out there it seems

I think it’s a combination of things, std plays a big part as it’s really become a serious problem, also as a ex tv I could meet regular as wife was at work, but now she’s retired it’s put a whole new spin in things, and probably same for a lot of older guys. I am a sissy now but restricted to when I can even cam. Also cams have become more sophisticated and easier to operate so that may have a bearing. Then again I could be completely wrong and it’s just a lack of interest!
