Are there any old style Turkish Baths left in the UK, The sort that had varying rooms of heat, a steam room, cold plunge etc.

I have visited numerous gay saunas but long to visit a Turkish style baths. There used to be good ones in Newport and Cardif but both closed many years ago.

There is still one in Harrogate that dates back to Victorian times, not cheap but well worth it

The best one was the Turkish Ones at Erdington Bham

Also the old Worcester Swimming baths

Always loads of descrete action & nudity

Sadly all gone

Now it’s gay sauna for nudity

There are a couple of hammams in Enfield, also an old Russian-style banya in Canning Town where they practice schmeissing, the New Docklands Steam Baths.

The two in Enfield/Edmonton offer those services and more, HK Hammam & Spa and The Old Hammam & Spa.
