Everyone should pay the same price, glad it's gone wrong. Never any tills open, booze locked behind doors, no phone signal so the damn app doesn't work.

I hate these shops that have 2 different prices on the shelf for the same product - I'm surprised it is legal.

.

Used to go in Iceland's shop few years ago..

Get to till " Have you got a loyalty card"

...No...

If they reduced prices, which they've shown is possible with loyalty cards..then shoppers would re-visit anyway...

Agreed! However if they make you do all the work they should be giving discounts. They aren't paying as many staff so ought to be able to lower prices

I’m quite happy to have lower prices just so the shop can see what I like to buy, i but the same stuff pretty much every week, makes no difference what the price is.

I’ve got cards for all the supermarkets, but they gain no loyalty from me because of them.

I realise they are just an information collection system nothing more, so I’m happy to be paid for that.

I collect the points on offer all year, and at the weekend, my Christmas shopping, including evtra food for all the family Xmas day, and beer and wine for the whole week, came to the cash total of £38.43. There was about £300 worth of food and drink in total, so thank you supermarkets for a very happy Christmas.

Apparently the Home secretary Ms Copper was giving out Mince pies in her local constituency (Pontefract area) and one nasty pensioner to her prelighty to stick it up her ass

Tantamount to bribery. Don't like mince-pies and certainly not a fan of the robotic Ms Cooper, but I wouldn't tell her to do that.

lol Always wondered why the international folk call us bleedin winging pomes lol. Starting to understand now lol

Personally I don't give 2 hoots about loyalty cards etc. Your data is not private full stop so why worry. I use them just as a matter of course and if I save some cash then so be it.

As for all the stores these days having various pricing modes, it's all about business commerce. I can't imagine how anyone could not understand how it all works. As for customer support, I have noticed a remarkable change in attitudes from the staff in the shops these days. I think the Self Service facilities have opened their eyes to giving good service with a smile works.

Been into many if not all the various stores and requested assistance, even without explaining my severe sight impairment and they have always dropped anything they are doing to help. Often taking me directly to the product I was asking about. As for Booze etc being locked behind screens or doors, personally not seen this but I suppose if you live in an area where this is problem, then it would sense.

I'm not signed up to any retailer's scheme and 99 times out of 100 I pay cash at the checkout.

It is soooooooo annoying when you pay for the products, and discover the price you saw on the shelf doesn't apply to you.

My app worked fine and still had the extra 10% off my shop which they were giving for the inconvenience to customers so fair play to them

Wish I had a local Morrison's to have a problem with. Nearest one is 26 miles away. I do love their bakery even though it is bad for me.
