"I hate these shops that have 2 different prices on the shelf for the same product - I'm surprised it is legal." Agreed! However if they make you do all the work they should be giving discounts. They aren't paying as many staff so ought to be able to lower prices

"I hate these shops that have 2 different prices on the shelf for the same product - I'm surprised it is legal." I’m quite happy to have lower prices just so the shop can see what I like to buy, i but the same stuff pretty much every week, makes no difference what the price is. I’ve got cards for all the supermarkets, but they gain no loyalty from me because of them. I realise they are just an information collection system nothing more, so I’m happy to be paid for that. I collect the points on offer all year, and at the weekend, my Christmas shopping, including evtra food for all the family Xmas day, and beer and wine for the whole week, came to the cash total of £38.43. There was about £300 worth of food and drink in total, so thank you supermarkets for a very happy Christmas.

"Apparently the Home secretary Ms Copper was giving out Mince pies in her local constituency (Pontefract area) and one nasty pensioner to her prelighty to stick it up her ass" Tantamount to bribery. Don't like mince-pies and certainly not a fan of the robotic Ms Cooper, but I wouldn't tell her to do that.
