Has anyone got into the muddle I got myself into over Christmas.

On Christmas Eve I was sent a what's app clip of a very well endowed Father Christmas rocking around the clock by someone on my contact list on What's app. There was no message on it.I attempted to forward it to another friend .

Unfortunately I made a complete cock up of the what's app forwarding method and it went to a group of about 12 which is the charity I volunteer for - a group of church going God fearing people.

I have had a handful of responses from the more broad minded who have taken it in good humour.

I have apologised to all and explained it by saying the originator was an ex- schoolfriend of mine on my contact list who from time to time gets a little too merry and does this sort of thing.

I said that in trying to delete it I had forwarded it in error to the group.

You can imagine my Christmas day was ruined. I am not looking forward to seeing the group. I do not know what the fall out will be.

Stupid stupid stupid! Tell me I am an idiot - I am!

I do not think the New Year is going to be happy for me!

Has anyone had similar mis-haps and what was their fall out?

I imagine most reasonable and rationale people would dismiss it as just a bit of adult humour at a merry time of year. The more prudish might have gone "tut, tut", but I'm sure they accept your apology in good faith.

I think this will be bigger in your head, than in reality. At worst some people might be frosty with you, but not all, as some have already responded in good humour. The rest will probably be more embarrassed as are you at this moment.

Don’t worry, you’ve apologised, everyone that genuinely knows you will accept this and move on, probably having forgotten already.

Yes it’s embarrassing for a while, I’ve accidentally sent images to the wrong person and even though I know they’ve been viewed, nothing has followed.

Just continue life as normally buddy.
