Often wonder why/what makes people keep going and why, for instance Jagger McCartney Dylan .they have everything fame fortune etc .I often think to myself what are you doing 74 and still looking for sex still dressing en femme. Yet I've done all ive wanted to sexually ive had more pricks than a second hand dart board. But keep going embarrassingly. I know I should pack it in but don't why ? What keeps you going what's the reason xxx

If it’s what you enjoy doing then why not?

Age shouldn’t make a difference in my opinion.

It's the buzz of sex, the excitement, the thrill. As you get older you become more dependent on "the kindness of strangers", youth will always be more attractive because we physically degenerate with age: fact. But there will always be those that prefer age and experience over youth so... carry on!

If it's about being here, then it's sex.

Maybe the banter in the forum but sex is the magnet.

Regarding the politicians, it's about power surely. They may enter politics with good intentions having stood on some very local platform and risen from there trying to change things for the best but as they progress higher in the ranks I'm convinced it's partly power and because they don't know anything else. William Hague is a good example; Tory Party conference at 16 or some youthful age, and never been out of politics since. Career politician. The so called rock stars do it for the money, the ego, because they can't live without the audience. Sadly Madonna should give up FFS, someone should tell her it's all a bit embarrassing lol

For the 'famous' it varies.

People like Jagger have become addicted. I got slagged off back in 2012 for suggesting McCartney should accept his voice has gone and sit back to allow the younger generations to perform his songs.

Trump is a narcissist and Musk is an ego maniac. Does Musk do a lot for charity? I genuinely have no idea. I do know he could so much if he wanted to. As it is he just seems to love money.

Me? I keep going professionally because I love what I do and in my own way I make a difference to peoples' lives

Sexually even though being seriously ill a few years back and then covid (which I caught the first time before the world had any idea what was coming) have reduced my performance levels, I still enjoy sex and I'm still very good at what I do. It's just a shame so many guys these days lack the wisdom to come and experience it.

I recently read an interview with prolific gay American author Edmund White. He has yet another memoir coming out soon, solely about his extraordinary sex life.

He is now 84, and physically way past his best. He was asked, "What is better than sex?" He replied, "Nothing".

Yes in your personal life keep doing what you enjoy and can. In professional life I think there does come a time when you should pass the torch to a younger generation and move into a mentor or coaching role.

Stop looking for reasons and just enjoy it while you can as long as you can. It's supposed to be pleasurable you know.

Go cold turkey and give it up from Monday.

Do that for three months and how you feel will be your answer.

Crikey. There's a statement that could open a can or worms and/or a deep philosophical discussion

I think to be seen as others see you can encourage people to keep going if you're seen based still being worth a look but in reality its how you see yourself that's important xxx
