Anyone had this done as an adult, what was the recovery period and any issues. Had a few issues with foreskin recently and doctor has suggested this would resolve them. Will be done privately as NHS could be a year waiting.

had it done about 3 years ago for medical reasons best thing I’ve done had no problems just a bit uncomfortable for a couple of weeks and all good to use in 6 weeks

I was circumcised early 20s personal choice no medical need

Recovery fine, no pain, I didn’t use paracetamol and was working next day

I even had wank with stitches still in place

I had mine done aged 25, because I wanted it done.

Big mistake.

The Foreskin is a wonder of nature.

Especially its natural gliding action.

There are alternatives to a full circumcision.

Had it done last year.

So far no negatives except over sensitivity round the scar otherwise I have found that my climax is more powerful and more intense, that is of course because my foreskin is no longer constricting my glans and crushing the urethra .

All alternatives had been tried and failed before the decision to remove it. The fact that there was some dubious looking tissue too made me glad it was taken off.

Penile cancer wasn’t an ideal diagnosis
