Naked swim family friendly (too much!?)

I occasionally attend a naked swim event , which is held monthly and is family friendly

Last time I attended there was a guy with not only a Prince Albert ( which I don’t feel appropriate) but also wearing a metal cock ring

Surely this is too much for this setting?

Of course there was no inappropriate behaviour or erections

I sometimes feel self conscious being circumcised and my glans in show when younger children about

I personally don’t like piercings

But as nudist don’t see any issue with people attending

It’s not a problem when you go abroad to see all shapes sizes etc

It’s down to netmums claiming every man on own wears an old Mac in the park

Yet their conveys of different blokes every month met off plenty of fish are ok

Remember the hang em crowd complaining about the naked swim event at Stoke baths got it shut down

Still trying to see how it is family friendly.

But I understand nudism is celebrating and welcome by some.

However the cock ring is totally unacceptable.

It is a sexy toy, by it very nature. and design to prevent blood flow out of a cock, keeping it hard. That for me is not celebrating naturism. That’s perverted in front of young people. Or indeed in front of people who haven’t consented to seeing such thing.

Given my liberal leanings some may be surprised that I don't feel this is acceptable. But it's not as clear-cut as many think. The PA is jewelry, I expect many of the mum's will have nipple bars and maybe clitoral piercings. Do we ban those as well? The cock ring though is much more a sex toy (some may argue it is also jewelry but it's primary purpose is sexual) so unsuitable for children to be exposed to IMHO. Obviously showing up with a butt plug is clearly a no no but I maintain that these days many people of both sexes have erotic piercings so what do we do? Or was the real problem that this guy was single? My feelings are that single guys or for that matter, girls, shouldn't be at a family naturist event. But it must be considered that these days mummies and daddies may have adornments anyway that will be seen by other families, so how do you handle those? Or should they all be removed prior?

I think the cock ring and PA just sexualises the event and extremely inappropriate. I've never understood why guys wear a cock ring as an accessory outside of sexual activity. But each to their own.

What I don't understand is u being self conscious about being circumcised. I think it's good to educate younger people that we are all different and come in many shapes n sizes. Circumcision should be nothing to be ashamed of.

I realize that and I guess if it's family friendly as opposed to family only then those that go as a family should know what might happen. Many of the responses seem to assume it's primarily a family event that has allowed single men in who are "dressed" overtly sexually.

Your cock is your cock, just like your arm is your arm. Doesn’t stop you wearing short sleeves. In the right scenario your cut cock has as much right to be in show as any uncut cock.

I’ve seen them with those bands around their balls too

I had no idea what they were at first

Doubt any of the younger people in attendance noticed either

Errct nipples and a semi is normal at a nudist place

Wanking watching porn butt plugs now that is not

If you’re going to take your kids to a naturist occasion of any kind, you must know what to expect, and so I really don’t get the problem. It’s the parents responsibility to look after the kids and make sure that they’re ok. It’s not some random strangers fault if there are kids around at a naturist event asking questions.

Prince Albert along with any other piercings are ok at the end of the day they're all just body jewellery, cock ring a bit more dubious as they're ostensibly a sexual aid, but I wasn't there and if it was ignored by others then maybe it was fine.

The ignorance about naturist philosophy from the nay sayers is staggering as usual, as a long time naturist myself, the usual inability of non naturists to separate nakedness from sex says more about the smutty minds commenting than about those attending a swimming event.

Fair comment but still don't think it's appropriate whether there is one child or 20 children. Could attract perverts. Also those awkward questions like "Mummy why does that man over there have a willy four times the size of daddy's?" or "Mummy how did that silly man end up with a curtain ring in his willy?"

If a child asks a question like that, they deserve a proper, straightforward answer. This doesn’t usually happen and that’s why so many people grow up thinking sexual stuff is wrong or dirty.

Also, a ‘family friendly’ naturist event is going to be attractive to perverts, a cock ring isn’t going to increase or decrease that attraction. It’s up to the organisers and parents to ensure children are kept safe.

How did you decide that?

If the cockring is not being used sexually then it's jewellery just as any piercing is.

I really don't get this. Are u saying men pull their foreskins back to expose their glands do it for sexual reasons? I know a few uncut guys whose foreskins retract naturally and it's not meant to be sexual but just the natural state of their soft penises. Yes a lot of guys when erect their foreskin rolls back, again that's their natural state. Equally there are many guys that remain covered when hard.

I also don't understand why someone who is conscious about their exposed glands would visit an event that makes them feel akward or uncomfortable. Doesn't that defeat the object of going to feel relaxed and enjoy the event? Why would anyone put themselves through that as the whole point is to feel free and inhibited.

If it was a problem

You can be rest assured someone would have reported him & told him to go

At the events you rarely see beautiful bodies

It’s usually over weight middle aged men & women with bellies & saggy tits

Occasionally you might see a super fit couple in their 30s

I do think the cock ring is a bit too much.

Both ne and my eldest (u18) are nudists and have attended many family friendly settings and we have never seen anything untoward happen.

We generally keep to ourselfs, we do have the odd chat with other families we have seen over the years.

Stoke Gifford.

Perhaps it is a symptom of the modern age but growing up and sharing changing rooms, less common these days, we were exposed to all shapes and sizes. Some developed slower and some were growers not showers. Circumcised was just another difference that we accepted. I don’t know what changed but I recall that every one had a look and even compared and discussed differences. Mostly jokingly and with lots of banter. I guess it was difficult if you happened to be a late developer.

I've been to lots of naturist beaches where families visit, it just feels natural. Kids don't care, they love being naked and have no issues with adults being naked. And on real naturist beaches it's not true that most adults are swingers.

"I go to naked adult swims, being naked around children is weird to me"

Ditto

Not sure what it says about my untrusting-nature, or the impact on us by the deluge of news nowadays, but id be very wary of my kids being naked in a pool with other single naked men in there too.

Teaching body-positivity, I get. Naturism, I get. Families together experiencing naturism, I get. But single guys there… sorry… I don’t get. I’d be too worried by their motives. Sorry if that offends the genuine.

And as for a PA AND a cock-ring… he should’ve been turned-away. He sounds like one of the ‘porn-film inspired’ posters on here. Wrong on so many levels!

Do you go in the area local to your profile?

I'm aware there is one in Northampton once a month but I am struggling to find other options!

Out of order. If I wear a cock cage is this ok? What about a butt plug?

I totally agree with some others here, the PA is jewelry, if that is banned, then so should all other piercings (earrings, eyebrow, nose, nipple, etc). However the cock ring is definitely NOT appropriate. A cock ring is a sex toy, it is designed to keep you hard. Just because he wasn't does not change it's intended use.

Years ago I took my kids to local swimming baths

I recall seeing a guy in white budgie smuggler swimming trunks

When they got wet you could see his substantial cock quite clearly

I don’t think that’s right in a public baths

Cannot say I have been in a swimming pool in years. Current climate, do you still have the cafe with windows into the pool? Even as a school child on the weekly school visit, they felt wrong.

As an organisation/organiser, it must be a safeguarding nightmare. Thinking back to the days of Tumb@r. The stereotype in#cest type, seemed to come from a certain dynamic.

Case of adults forcing their choices on minors, when they should actually be offering the informed decision/protection.
