From a hormonal and psychological point of view, there's no guarantee libido returns. For a significantly high percentage it doesn't. Ive got a fair few female friends who have come out the other side who wouldn't care if they never have sex again.

Don't even get that. It's got to the point over the years, if it was offered I would refuse. To be honest, Im in a bad place with this (mostly) sexless marriage issue now. Not the marriage itself. Just the sex. Its a complicated story but increasingly feel Ive got nowhere to turn.
