Quite happy with it most of the time though can be tedious. Yearned for it when I was still working full-time as having to deal with goodness knows how many people all the time.

Yes, I like time alone when I can do stuff like gardening, DIY and play guitar etc. I'm good with people as well though, banter and breaking the ice, so enjoy my time at the gym, playing football and odd bits of work I do.

I’m an introvert, so although I have plenty of contact with other people, I do like to have some ‘me time’ sometimes.

I do like alone time, probably because I can hardly get any. Wouldn’t want to be alone all the time though.

Love quiet times for reflection. I spend some times in the monastery once or twice a year.

Alone time is good but isolation is bad!

They say people who appreciate isolation likely value introspection, deep thinking, and personal space. They may find solitude to be a source of clarity, creativity, or emotional recharge rather than loneliness. Such individuals often have a rich inner world, enjoying pursuits like reading, music, art, or nature in quiet settings.

Absolutely love it, that’s why I moved to where I have, peace and quiet to find my own corner of the world…

Not to sound too whimsical but my wood burner and my reading chair are my two favourite possessions, when I get my dog I’ll be a happy bunny xx

I like being alone.

I'm very comfortable in my own company, which is not saying that I'm not wanting the company of others, but I can enjoy long periods of solitude.

I can't think of a time when I've ever really yearned for company in a social setting.

I go wild camping for 5-7 days at a time. I won't see or speak to anyone for the whole time.

Solitude is good for a man.

Time to think and digest.

Since the loss of my only remaining relative, I’m ‘alone’ to all intents and purposes. Live alone, I can come and go as I wish, plan my own days and daily life. I have good friends, colleagues and acquaintances, moments of solitude yes, sometimes ‘isolation’, would I want someone around all the time, no I don’t think so, its great to share moments especially those spontaneous ones, life deals you a set of cards to play out, not always ‘aces’!
