FabGuys.com forum: Name my new Cockerel

Yesterday we found an abandoned hen down my lane. She had been unwanted by someone and left there. She was quite distressed but happy when we got her home and she has settled in to my old hen house. She has been named Lucky because she would have succumbed to traffic or been foxed.

A friend has supplied a handsome 8 month old cockerel to keep her company. He has white plumage with some black markings an Auracana. The females lay pale blue eggs.

Suggestions on what would we should name him?

Well done in rescuing and rehoming Lucky, good to read that she had settled and that she has some company too, how about naming him "Monty"🐔

Thank you peeps a good response and the winner is: Albert.

He seems like a good old fashioned gent. They're settling into their coop. Lucky is choosing the curtains and they enjoyed a lot of layers pellets earlier.

Who knows what will happen overnight! But I'll report right back...

Anyways they're a pair of loved up birds now. Settling in well and roaming about the place. Theyve made friends with the dogs too.
