You can’t see anyone else’s hotlist to know if you are on it.

If you both add each other it then shows as a notifications you are both on each other’s hotlists.

I can't remember the wording because it's disappeared now (maybe I'm not so hot after all) but it says something like "You are on each other's hotlist" next to their name in your hotlist updates.

No…. The people you see on your hotlist are the people you’ve added to your hotlist.

If someone on your hotlist adds you to their hotlist - so you are on each other’s hotlist - when that happens a little notice appears in your Hotlist Feed - something like XXXX and YYYY you are both on each other’s hotlists - and this lasts in your Hotlist Feed for just a few days as the other notices there until it drops off. So unless you notice that when it happens or soon after, you wouldn’t otherwise know that.

No - see above.

You might well be on their hotlists as it only tells you when the second person adds the other and you are a match. And that notice expires after a few days. So otherwise you wouldn’t be able to tell.

This is an object lesson in people not actually looking at the different features of the site. There is an Updates tab after all…
