Just heard the uk entry for the Eurovision 2025 by Remember Monday.

Not so sure about the other countries but it’s nil points from me , then again Eurovision has got its kitsch following so maybe I’m off the mark

I quite like it but it's whether the rest of the ebu likes it that matters.

Sounds terrible, but being 1st girl group in a long time maybe it'll get a few points

It's a grower for me. Certainly something very different for the UK but I feel they are trying the same formula as Nemo's The Code but with a fusion of pop and country. They will have to do some canvassing around Europe to garner any interest but boy, the girls can sing live! Good luck to them.

We all know that it really doesn't matter what the song is like, it's all about who's mates with who at the time of judging. And let's face it, the results really are the best thing about Eurovision... I love eurovision and watch it every year, I couldn't tell you who won last year though. But I always look forward to the 'nil point' and the 'douze point'

South Shore Blackpool.

There's no chance of them forgetting the lyrics as it's so repetitive, so that's a positive.

It's all too political now and not really about the talent or the music, countries such as Ukraine will obviously get the kindness vote etc.

Does the cash strapped UK really want the expense of hosting anyway, so not winning isn't such a bad outcome afterall.

I think Remember Monday have a good chance of doing well, but like three years ago, it may well arguably be because of what we do for Ukraine over the next couple of months. I'm not definitely saying that we only came second in 2022 because of the support we offered Ukrainians then, because Sam Ryder and his song were great. But if that political basis is anything to go by, then whichever countries help Ukraine the most might come out top of the leaderboard - us, France, Germany. Then again who knows! EuroVision isn't EuroVision without the UK languishing at the bottom of the board somewhere. 🤣

🎶🎶

Eurovision, once a pioneering effort to unify Europe through music in the post-war dawn of the television age, has lost its original purpose in the sands of time.

Over the decades, it has devolved into a crass, embarrassing, yet humorously entertaining spectacle. Despite this, the contest still commands a huge and enthusiastic following, embracing its kitschy charm with gay abandon.

This song even has a good chance of charting.

Not many uk songs have recently.

I haven’t watch Eurovision for about 10 years but I like to hear the UK entry.

This is the best one in years.

My favourite that never was, was the Ru Paul Drag Race UK Release “UK Hun?” By a drag team who called themselves the United Kingdolls that made number 27 in the charts.

Can't remember when I was even interested in hearing anything connected to Eurovision. It's sad that there are excellent musicians throughout Europe but this has nothing do with music.

I heard some negative comments about the song and band. As it Eurovision and given our track record I was prepared to be underwhelmed to the point of embarrassment. Shock is I'm not. It's good Euro pop. Instantly likeable. I watched the YouTube video and I like it. My problem is what the hell happened to the toilet tattooed on the girls arm at the beginning. It seems to disappear and not be seen again. Nil points for continuity

I was a hater until I saw the video, those outfits were quite... inspiring...the song made much more sense...but them standing up singing live in front of 200million people....we shall soon see....

Uk entry was totally forgettable as were most of the others - can’t believe that one of Finland, Sweden, Denmark or Estonia didn’t win tbh.
